"The staff was helpful and nice and stay was good overall
For the management there, the chair in the room where the bunk bed was, was ripped and stained but functional and the Queen bed in our room was a double but they told us it was a queen , we have a queen at home and that was definitely a double bed
I think some of the furniture was dated and should be replaced to make guests feel more comfortable in the room"

"Judi breakfast lady on Saturday and Sunday stood out.
Despite being busy she gladly washed my Yetti cup for me with a smile every morning of our stay. Great service. Judi never stops where do you find such great staff."

"I don't like writing reviews that aren't truly delightful, but sometimes reality is not as rosy as information online.
We chose Stone Gate Inn because it wasn't a national chain and it had an 8.4 review average. We prefer to support small businesses.
I don't know how long the current Stone Gate owners have had the property, and they're clearly working on it, but they really need to be transparent in how they market the facility in their online presence. Many rooms were under construction from 11...

"Don't bypass this hotel because it is older. Very clean hotel and staff are wonderful. Room may be a bit outdated but beds are new and comfortable as are the pillows and bedding so it provided a great sleep which is really important. Sauna and pool were really well maintained and the free breakfast was exceptional. A lot of variety which I was surprised by."

"No bedside table or any table to put sleep apnea machine on. No outlet to plug it in. No dresser no closet to hang anything. Fell through the bed...slats not attached. Sheets would not stay on bed."
