5 star location.
We enjoyed this property very much. It is well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, a hair dryer, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry soap. The ice maker, dish washer and laundry all worked well. Hot tub was very clean and warm. The location can't be beat in Port Orford. We walked most anywhere we needed to go. The grocery store is a short drive. This is a well laid out house. If you want to go to bed early, the master bedroom is far enough away from the living room to cut down noise. The furniture and bedspreads are old with some stains. Some dead bugs in the cabinets. As other reviewers have stated, it would be nice to have screens on the windows to reduce the bug issue. We were blessed with a week of amazing weather and the sun will bake you through the living room windows. Shades would be nice. Those are small issues. The value of this place with location and amenities gives it 5 stars from me. We will definitely be back.

Best Views
We enjoyed 11 night stay. The rental was clean and very comfortable. Needs some updating. My husband enjoyed the fishing boats at the wharf being lifted up. The unit needs to include a BBQ. We had friends join us for weekend. We plan on renting next summer for maybe longer.

Enjoyable
We were blessed with wonderful weather for our weekend here which was complimented by the view. I'm pretty fussy about beds in rentals and we let our friends have the master so my husband and I slept on the twin beds and we were pleasantly surprised that they were that uncomfortable. The kitchen is minimally stocked and didn't have a cheese grater, only one hot pad, and could use a few other things also. Needs to have things inside the cabinets cleaned too. The master bedroom door knob didn't work properly and had to flush the toilet with the chain inside the tank. Even though it could use some attention we still found our weekend there enjoyable.

I'm done with VRBO
No rain, guide canceled my fishing trip. I notified VRBO, and not only did they charge me for the home any way they kept sending me requests to rate the experience. I tried to reschedule but to no avail. I'm done with VRBO.

Great view!!
Didn’t receive checkin information, gained access via owner. Wi-Fi didn’t work, hot-tub wasn’t ready/dirty, rugs needed vacuuming, owners daughter luggage in room, her clothing on night stand, a lot of cobwebs, PLACE NEEDS A THOROUGH CLEANING. Very nice owners but poorly managed by Vacasa.

Cozy and Comfy
My daughter and I enjoyed our time staying in this property, which is clean, well-appointed and cozy. We were especially happy about the wind-proof porch (it was rainy and blustery during our visit), the location just a short walk from the waterfront, and the friendliness of the town in general. We recommend this property. Redfish has a nice bar and good food!

We loved this place! Very clean. Helpful owner upstairs, but not obtrusive at all. Beds were comfortable. Cozy place to just relax. And on top of all that, the view from the living room is simply extraordinary! Would happily come back.

Labor Day Stay
Beautiful location. Quiet, spacious, many amenities, comforts of home. Didn’t like that there were no screens on the windows and since it was warm we have lots of little bugs flying around. No outside seating. No space for some chairs or a bench to enjoy sitting outside. No bbq was a bummer.

Recliners with a view.
Small town with eclectic folks in the middle of a beautiful stretch of Oregon coast. The condo fit in perfectly. Very comfortable living room and beds. Plenty of everything in the kitchen and in linens. Views of harbor and ocean just outside the windows. Finding the unit a bit of a panic as our GPS and computer preview placed the address 2 blocks away the middle of a block with non-sequential address numbers. Further the only visible street sign shows the wrong name for the cross street referenced in the directions (by chance the cross street changes names right there). Happily a very helpful lady at Vacasa got us sorted out and the owner met us at the door. A great stay then followed.

Very nice stay. House was perfect.
Very glad we stayed here. Nice having a little more room than a hotel with 2 kids and so close to the beach. Not much open as far as resturaunts go but we were able to make a quick meal in the kitchen after a run to Rays. Would stay again.

Can't beat the view and location
We had a great stay! We just loved sitting in front of the front windows and enjoying the beautiful view and the dock action. This is the end of town to be as it is just a block from the restaurants, the dock (and beach), and Battle Rock beach. It is a little dated, with older stained furniture, if you care about that... we didn't. It had what we needed and found the beds comfortable. I never got the code to get in and had to call Vacasa just a few hours, while on the road, before we got there. I have no idea why the policy is to have to wait until that afternoon to get an email with the code to get in. That was very stressful knowing it would be late on a Sunday night. I had sent a message, with no answer, the night before as well as when I had a question about my payment a few months earlier. Both were unanswered. I was upset that my messages went unanswered several times; just totally ignored. Maybe this is a Vacasa thing, as I have never used them. That, along with not sending me info on getting in, is why I gave low stars. That was stressful. Overall I would stay again, we had a great time.

Beautiful & Cozy even in Stormy Weather
I rented this to see my nephew & his family and to share in the experience of my great nephews 1st time on the beach. It is a lovely spot right across from the road that leads to the beach & harbor! I gave the master bedroom to my nephew & wife & took twin bed which was surprisingly comfy! I had read reviews that last year the jets were out in the tub & owner said it would be repaired by Oct. 2020. Would have been great to know that it is still not repaired nor is there a cheese grater as another reviewer mentioned!!!!

Great location, a lot of stuff not working
We loved the location, right on the water. The house itself was very nice, comfortable furniture, cool decorations, Fully stocked kitchen utensils and bathroom towels. What we didn't like was a handful of items in the house were not working: 1.The fireplace did not work (THIS WAS ONE OF THE PRIMARY REASONS TO PICK THIS PLACE). 2. The hot tub in the master bedroom did not work (THEY EVEN HAD A WORKER COME IN WHILE WE WERE THERE, WE FELT UNCOMFORTABLE, BECAUSE THE OWNER WHO LIVED UPSTAIRS WAS NOT AROUND FOR THEM, THOUGH HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE). 3. Only two windows in the main part of the house opened, one was broken and the other had no screen, flies kept coming in when we opened it. 4. We picked this place because it had a full kitchen, it was very nice, but the fan over the stove top and oven did not work. Also, one of the burners did not work. 5. The toilet in the master bedroom did not flush most of the time, when it did, you had to hold the handle down for 10+ seconds. 6. The T.V. kept switching to other stations and kept going to recordings. The only thing we could figure was the owners, who live right above, have the same remote and it works both Dish T.V. boxes. The owner, Richard, was nice, but he seemed to know the place had issues and every time we asked about the fireplace or hot tub to be fixed, he gave vague answers. WE ENDED UP LEAVING A DAY EARLY, WE WERE JUST FRUSTRATED THAT A NICE PLACE HAD SO MANY ISSUES, ESPECIALLY NO FIREPLACE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY BEAUTIFUL AND ROMANTIC IN THE EARLY MORNING AND LATE EVENINGS. Lovely Beach vacation
Enjoyed our two-night stay very much at this house, the view of the ocean was amazing! Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, walk down to the secluded beach was wonderful. The only recommendation we have is that a shade be put up in the master bathroom, the electrical outlets fixed in the main bathroom and beside the vanity in the master bedroom.

A lovely home in a beautiful location
This home is located on a bluff overlooking the port and a short walk to a sandy beach. The home is clean, spacious, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there. Vacasa made check-in easy. The one thing that could be improved was that there were no screens on the windows, so cooling down the house without letting in bugs was difficult. The jets on the jacuzzi tub also would not turn on. These were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful experience.

Love Love Love
We absolutely loved our three night stay at Coast Haven. The place was spotless, comfortable and well appointed. The master bed was comfy and the layout of the home is very functional. We had everything we needed. The view from the front room is awesome. Watching the full moon rise over the trees and the moonlight on the water was a special treat. We enjoyed watching the activity at the dock and even saw a whale one evening near the jetty. We started in Seattle and made our way down Highway 101. After a night in Seaside and a night in Florence, we chose Port Orford as "home base" for its location so we could explore the surrounding coast and the The Redwoods. The views all along 101 are outstanding and The Redwoods are beautiful. There are nice beaches to explore nearby as well. We enjoyed visiting the Hughes House just north of town. Dick and Judy, who own the property and live upstairs, are very nice people and made sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed a visit with them one evening. Coast Haven is very nice and, should we return to Port Orford, we will surely stay at this home again.

Beautiful property with lovely ocean views in a thriving small town with great walks. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners are kind and very responsive to any issues. So highly recommended! We hope to go back on another trip to the coast. Only two comments -- the floors are thin so we heard every conversation and footstep from upstairs. But never late at night or early, so we got used to it. The internet is very spotty and the TV, too. Again no worries if you're on vacation as we were, but really annoying if you need to stay in touch. There's nothing to be done since that's the best available on the coast so just know that before you go.

If you want wonderful experience of coastal charm. This is the place. Many things to do. All the restaurants are in walking distance. Each one has amazing food. Try them all. The harbor and the beach will calm you and add a wonderful time.

Amazing family vacation

GREAT OCEAN VIEW CONDO
Love this place! It is the 2nd time my family has stayed here. Great view of the dock and ocean and an easy walk down to the beach. Nice kitchen and all the amenities. Very well maintained, you can tell the owner is conscientious and detail oriented. Staying in a home like this made our Thanksgiving Holiday all the more special, much nicer than booking a hotel room!
