The Barnacle--Perfect for the Fishermen...

After a hard day's fishing, what better place to relax than in convenient, comfortable surroundings in this fishing village. Located in a well-maintained, safe neighborhood, this apartment is inside the boat barn which makes for quiet, restful sleeping conditions. The bedroom has accommodations for four with a twin over full bunk and a full over full bunk (4 beds). The bathroom has a huge shower and is stocked with soaps and paper products. There is a big screen TV where you can catch all of the latest Houston sports games and news and basic programming. Complimentary WiFi in addition to DirectTV Stream are provided. ROKU remote.
There is a covered carport, propane grill, and yard furniture for relaxing outside when not fishing. Security cameras are not armed during your stay protecting your privacy. An electric extension cord is available for charging your boat.
Please , park on the 45' X 29 ' wide rock drive between the Barnacle and the street. The cement driveway is for guests in the other two rentals on this property. Contact owner if you want to see if this space on the cement drive is available during your stay.

We do ask that you do not clean fish/ducks on the premises. Also, absolutely do not throw entrails in the trash bins. The stench permeates the neighborhood for a week.

We love pets, but we ask that you do not leave your pet alone all day while you are gone without kenneling it.. There is a $50/pet fee in the booking process if not deducted at booking, it will be deducted from the damage deposit after your departure.

These accommodations are for 4 people only, including kids. .

The rock drive on the street side of barn (45 X 29 is your designated parking area.
NO SMOKING/VAPING, Any sign of tobacco use indoors will incur an extra cleaning fee of $200 deducted from damage deposit.
Do not leave your pet unattended. If you leave, take it with you or kennel it. Do not allow in the bedroom. Kennel at night.

Property is very well appointed with plenty of towels etc. Very nice and clean.Improvement suggestion: get rid of the plastic landscape trim along the sidewalk - trim is loose creating a serious trip hazard. I was tripped by it twice but, luckily, did not fall.

My pet wasnt happy about staying off furniture however it was good training and good lesson. She enjoyed the rugs on the floor.... Only complaint we had was the drinking water tasted bad.. but that isnt the property owner that is on the city

Cute little house!

My friends and I picked this place for our galentines weekend. The restaurants we went to were amazing and everyone was friendly. The little house was perfect for the 4 of us to do arts and crafts.

Clean and easy

Property was very easy to check in, the property was very clean and the owners were super nice and very well at communicating. It was easy for us to come and go at the early morning hours to hunt and fish and come back after dark with no issues. Able to park our 2 cars and our boat there too with no problem.

FINtastic!

This was the perfect place to stay for our fishing getaway! The owners were very kind and responsive. The homes had everything we needed and then some. Multiple properties available at the same location was a nice surprise, as we were able to add an additional house and invite more family. We will definitely be back and recommend to others!

Good base camp for fishing trip

There were 2 of us and the space was great. The bunk beds are solid for 4 people, but the space might be a little small for 4 guys with all your gear. Good parking for boat & Truck. You will have to disconnect truck.

Our Favorite POC Getaway

We’ve stayed here several times and absolutely love it. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation to this place or the hosts. It’s always clean and the hosts are accommodating and will answer any questions you may have. We will definitely be back!
