The power was out for most of our stay - not their fault, it affected the whole region - but the wood stove, the propane stovetop, and wood-fired hot tub meant we could still enjoy all the things! "This is a great base for Queen’s County adventures, located downtown Liverpool with quick access to beaches, resorts and more. The space is large; the bed very comfortable. Nearby restaurants were wonderful - had a fabulous breakfast at Lane’s and an incredible dinner at Main & Mersey. Worth the drive just for that. Not as colourful as Lunenburg but character and history abound and are fun to explore. "

The basement was accessed each day for a couple of hours which could get quite noisy with the washer/dryer running and loud conversations, but other than this small disruption, our stay was great and we would book again! "Nice to have all the appliances and be able to do our laundry. Good location, Wilma was a responsive host. They need better signage - the building has a barber shop in it and 3 people coming for a haircut ended up knocking on our door because they couldn't find the entrance, which is through the Bubble Tea shop. Noisy in the day time but okay for sleeping."
