Overall, we had a great stay at Braata. Jr was very helpful and attentive when anything arose. Rooms were clean, kitchen had plenty of items to cook with, and everything felt very secure. If you are traveling with small children, keep in mind that the property has many stairs. But, with some ingenuity, we were able to make the area safer for our toddler. The water pressure leaves a little to be desired, and the hot water would be called lukewarm at best after 8 pm. However, if you can squeeze your showers in before 8 pm, the water is piping hot. When we arrived, the water in the pool appeared stagnant (was slightly greenish in color) but, was cleaned and treated after our 3rd day there. By the 5th day, the pool had crystal clear water, as shown in the picture. Water in the pool seemed to stay clear as long as the filters and jets were running, if it was shut down, water started to get murky. Also, the yardman was a little too pushy for our liking. While I do understand the aspect of being hospitable, he had a habit of pulling the kitchen window open and shouting into the house to get my husband's attention. He asked for money, tried to hire his niece as a babysitter for us, and there always seemed to be an issue with the washing machine or dryer whenever he was around. It wasn't until I explained to Jr that I needed to wash clothing for our baby that everything seemed to start working.
