Amara - Pet Friendly Beachside Escape

This home offers the perfect escape for the family, friends and pets.

Whether you want to relax in the stylish open-plan living area, cook up a storm in the gourmet kitchen, or swim and surf at beautiful Nobbys Beach, this is the place for that family holiday.

Amara is located at 6 Wesley Ave and is only a 250m walk to Nobbys Beach and 3.7km to the CBD. This light and airy four bedroom, two bathroom home is sure to impress.

The home comfortably sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms and two living areas. At ground level there is a double garage with internal access, two bedrooms both with queen sized beds, ceiling fans and built in wardrobes, a 2nd bathroom, internal laundry and 2nd living area with TV and sofa bed (for if you need to squeeze in that 9th guest).

Located on the upstairs level is the main bedroom containing a queen size bed, ceiling fan and walk in wardrobe and the second bedroom with 2 single beds, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe.

Also located on this level is the main bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and separate toilet. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area has high ceilings and opens onto the front deck and exude a feeling of a relaxed beachy vibe.

Bring your beloved pet along as the dog friendly yard is securely fenced with Nobbys Beach only 250m away which is a "dog off leads" beach.

The property also offers an air conditioner, Webber BBQ and complimentary Wi-Fii and Foxtell.

Bedding: Queen in main, two singles in the second and queen in the third and fourth bedroom. Linen is included.

This property does not accept bookings for Schoolies, Sporting Teams, Hens parties, Bucks parties or any other party bookings. If a booking is accepted by a third-party booking portal and then found by the managing agent to be one of the above, the booking will be cancelled and there will be no refund payable.
If a booking includes guests under the age of 21, they must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 and identification will be required to collect keys to the property.

A comfortable home in a handy location

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds it was great to have .AC and ceiling fans . The only negative was there were no basic pantry items like salt and pepper , or tomato and BBQ sauce or teabags/ coffee, which I think is a minimum requirement.

Fantastic home away from home

Property fit my family and their young children perfectly. Things we loved were the option of a baby gate at top of the stairs, enclosed backyard for playtime, all beds were good quality and very comfortable, 2 bathrooms, quick access to amenities and food in town if needed.

Just great

Everything is was really great. The cleanliness was amazing. It was spacious and the location was good. Being able to use the garage was extremely helpful and being dog friendly was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Lovely large house, great location.

Well maintained, clean, homely and with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Owners next door were very helpful with 2 small issues we had relating to the operation of the TV and the electric stove top.

Location location

Amazing property to stay in port Macquarie. Owner of property was very helpful and informative. Amazing beach just around the corner, short drive away from the town center, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The house itself has air conditioning upstairs, large kitchen, two lounge areas, two separate bathrooms and 4 large bedrooms. Perfect property for families.

Great Doggy Getaway

Spotlessly clean and well presented this home is in close proximity to a nearby dog beach. Flynn’s beach is also fairly close which is great for a morning walk, swim and a cup of coffee. Owners were very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our “escape covid” break. A sunny balcony for breakfast and a dog proof rear yard were also a plus. About a 10 minute easy drive to Port CBD. Only downside was some poor internet reception.

Comfortable home away from home

My family and I enjoyed our 2 night stay in this very comfortable home close to Nobby's beach in Port Macquarie. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped with an adjoining balcony with a bbq and plenty of seating for our group of six. The main bedroom is comfy with plenty of walk in wardrobe space and the nearby bathroom is clean and attractive. There is a bedroom with twin beds close to the main so ideal for young children The remaining two bedrooms and one bathroom are located downstairs providing an ideal area for our adult children, particularly with their own lounge and tv zone. The only negative was the fact that there was an audio issue with foxtel on the upstairs tv and we were unable to access free to air tv channels. The friendly owner visited us shortly after our arrival with a gift of chocolates and assured us that we could still access these channels. A new foxtel box had been ordered for future guests. As we were only staying for 2 nights and with our access to programs on our laptop, we didn't worry about the tv but obviously it would have been better if this issue had not occurred. Contrary to what Elders informed us, there is wifi at the property, the code was provided to us by the owner. Overall, the house is ideal for a family with an enclosed and very private back garden. The property is a short walk from the beach and a 5 minute drive from the cbd of Port Macquarie with its excellent restaurants, we loved the Stunned Mullet. It was an ideal stopover for us but of course, would be a great location for a longer holiday

Great location in close proximity to pet friendly Nobbys Beach. Very secure rear yard. Four good sized bedrooms and two large living areas. In a very quiet street. Only criticism was the internal stairs were quite steep which caused the oldies some angst - would benefit with the installation of a handrail.
