"The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised."

"Lovely place. Great host Kate and the wee doggies were gorgeous beautiful house and surroundings. Loved the honest shop great idea. we stayed in the black room which was beautiful and clean. The only thing we were a little disappointed with was when we went to use the jet bath there was no hot water and this was at 10.30 at night and had to wait two hours for it to heat up which would have been at 12.30 so we didn’t get to use the facility. "This stay was okay. Granted I am uncertain of the location but I had a few expectations that definitely were not met. However this could very well be, you get what you pay for. The unit could definitely accommodate a good amount of people and for the cost subpar bedding and towels could be expected. The unit was clean but not something I would choose again.
