"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),...

"What a great stay. Our first time in Maine, and New England and so glad we had this location. Booth bay is the “just right” costal town to stay in. 5 minutes from the harbor, so much to do locally, and the home was great. The property stole the show, though. The water, deck, dock, fire pit, grill, the trees! All so great. The house is large and well equipped, but could use some updating, better humidity control, and AC. Highly recommend."

"We enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage and we appreciated the antiques connecting the cottage to the past/ history of the area. No issues with our stay. "This was a perfect location to explore and experience the Maine coast! I wish my stay was longer, and I hope to return again someday. Alex, the host, was so friendly and attentive. "We spent three nights at Pauls Cottage. As a local host for vacation homes on Cape Cod. I pay attention to the details.The home had a three night minimum.The fee for the host was as much as the nightly rate. There for we expected the service to match the rate. "The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us."

"Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all."

"The property was super clean right down to the nautical decor, not a speck of dust. April thought of everything to make the stay perfect. The location was perfect and very quiet. We did have a couple of things that needed attention and April was there to get everything right again."

"This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!"

"My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. We were also in the apartment early one evening because of light rain, just reading and checking emails, etc., and missed the basics for preparing our own food....
