Take a walk to the beach there is a sidewalk that leads right into Port Clinton about a half mile walk there is Docks beach house Restaurant, sit and enjoy the great food and drinks while the kids enjoy the beach. Across the street is Off the Rocks Mexican cuisine and a very good place to the west 1/4 mile called Overboard bar and grill they have amazing burgers and fresh cut fries.
This vacation home has everything you need for a truly memorable stay in Port Clinton. Bring your pet there is a great dog walking paved path at the end of the drive.

Something to know about Port Clinton from late June thru the first of August we have 2 bugs called a Midge and a Mayfly they come off of the lake at night in what is called a hatch they are attracted to light, but it helps keeping out door lights off when not needed.
They do not bite, and they die within 24 hours they will fly into the home when you open doors or windows. We do our best to clean up the outside during these hatches so bear with us the whole community has the same issue.
