Second Wind is a cozy home for you and your guests to vacation. Don't forget your furry best friend! Second Wind is a pet-friendly home that welcomes small dogs with a $200 non-refundable fee. This affordable home has all the comforts of home! The kitchen has everything you'll need to make your favorite meals. The island/bar offers seating as well as a great space to prepare and serve meals. There are Smart TVs in the living room and the primary bedroom. Connect to the WiFi by entering the password information located near the TV to stream your favorite movies and TV shows. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. Bedroom one has a twin/twin bunk bed and a single bed with a trundle underneath. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with an attached bathroom. Bedroom three has a full-size bed. In the living room, you will find a sofa bed that accommodates 2 extra people. The deck has options for sitting in the shade or in the sunshine. Downstairs is the perfect spot to grill your catch of the day and to gather in the shade with family and friends. When the beach calls, you will have several ways to get to the shoreline. You can walk onto the beach or use the golf cart access on the adjacent roads. Beaumont Street and Bowers Lane have vehicle and golf cart access. After a fun-filled day on the beach, rinse away the sandy fun in the outside shower. You will be sure to catch your "Second Wind" after vacationing here!
Even when provided, internet access, TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes cannot guarantee that these amenities will work during your stay. We cannot offer refunds for the disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rent. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for the renter's use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house, and standard beds are made for your arrival. Linens will be provided in the home for all sleeper sofas, trundles, and pull-out bedding. Paper products, other than toilet tissue and paper towels, and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below. Please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tabs (if applicable)
2 laundry tabs (if applicable)
1 small bottle of dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar of hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest
