"My crew enjoyed the location and their overall stay at this location, which I am very thankful for. However, their communication could use a little work. I believe the host is in a different time zone, but we did not receive the lock code until almost an hour after arriving that evening and I had to reach out to customer service in order to get a hold of him."

"Nice cozy place with good amenities like hot tub, small firepit, creek access for good fishing and comfortable furnishings inside the house. Our only small let down, if you can even call it that, was that the location was not as secluded as we thought. It's pretty close to town and the other cabins on the property are pretty close by which makes it feel not as secluded as we hoped for. Overall, I would say 8.5 out of 10 rating though. Thanks."

"This is a nice place for a relaxing fishing trip. Not too far from amenities (grocery store, restaurants) in Port Arthur, and there is a little grocery bait store a mile or two down the road (with live shrimp!). The pier is long and we caught a nice variety of fish. Good space under the house to stay out of the sun, cook and enjoy the breeze."

"Having gorwn up in the area, literally about one mile away, and spent a large amount of time in the area of this rental, it was exactly what we expected. It was clean and decorated well. It had everything we needed for our brief stay. I wanted to address the previous comments about the water. There is just a slight tint of iron in the water I am sure it is the result of older piping, or possibly the supply. I am not certain but they may not be on municipal water.
