"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "What a beautiful place to stay . The only room above a fully renovated pub. Both the room and the pub are beautifully done. It's a large spacious room . The classic cast iron slipper foot tub in the middle of the room was used everyday. Great way to wind down. A convenience store is across the street so is parking . Great food downstairs in the pub and the staff couldn't have been nicer. If Southerndown is on your radar . This is the spot!"

"Der Zugwaggon ist wirklich eine sehr besondere Unterkunft. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist mit Liebe zum Detail. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub benötigt. Leider war die Klospülung meistens nicht zu stoppen und ist permanent nachgelaufen. Der Waggon ist wirklich sehr schön, benötigt aber dringend eine Restauration, vor allem die Fenster. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, wenige Minuten zum Strand. Ein paar mal am Tag fährt ein schöner alter Zug vorbei....

"Lovely flat, lovely view over the bay and the sea. Everything you need in the flat to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable but missing slats which meant if you sat on it wrong would fall through. Comfy sofa bed with linen. I would recommend and would stay here again.
