"We loved our stay at Elsa's inn. The breakfast was amazing and we learned so much about the history of the area from the host. Location was unbeatable. We went to a nearby lookout to watch the sunrise and it was stunning and not crowded like the places right by Bar Harbor. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip around Maine!"

"Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free...

"The room was large and the view from the top floor could not be beat. Having a balcony to sit on and enjoy the spectacular view was special. The hotel was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was nice that the free bus came directly to the hotel for pickup so one didn't have to deal with finding and paying for parking in Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and we appreciated having a free breakfast each morning."

"The breakfast while mass-produced covered all of the possible breakfast foods and then some- so more than the usual continental breakfast. The shuttlebus stop into Bar Harbor and beyond also couldn't be more convenient. Their is also trail access at the back of the property for certain trails. A great place!"

"Friends and I came for a weekend in Bar Harbor/Acadia, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Parking was not an issue even though we checked in late on a Friday night, mainly because staff gave us permission to 'create' a spot (in fairness there was enough space to do so!); the rest of our stay, parking was truly not an issue, as we always found an open spot. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Being on-the-go vacationers, we really appreciated the free continental breakfast and all day snack...
