Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa
It’s a pleasant hotel. It’s a bit expensive and if you want to use the gym or pool they charge you extra. Also they couldn’t provide access to a microwave. Still, the room was lovely and quite big. Very clean also.

All good with only a couple of minor issues. Could do with vanity mirror with plug socket, hangers on backs of doors and a shower mat.

The Clifford Gathering - Sleeps Up To 10 York
The property is in a great location, but is not kept in a great shape. Beds were super uncomfortable, you cold feel the mattress springs pooking you. The bathroom really need basic updates, a clean, mold free shower curtains would be enough
