"Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins."

"Definitely it’s the epitome of your old rustic lakeside cabin! I say that in a good way! Couple of things, The refrigerator door didn’t close all the way, we had to put a box in front of it to hold it closed. Maybe making some of the windows open with screens. "This property was very clean and easily accessible. Very close to Walmart for groceries and local shops/eateries downtown. It is great for a family with children or just a group looking for a getaway weekend! Everything is as advertised, plus some added bonuses to make the stay even more like home. If you are looking for places to easily get to Mackinac Island, this is great too as it is only 15 minutes! Definitely would highly recommend! Host is very receptive!"

"This was all around bad nothing as was described. No heat when we arrived which was fixed. No tv was working the shower didn’t work so no showers for us to use , no toliet paper given either who wants to go get toilet paper on vacation. There’s no host to communicate with. The place was dirty all around live bugs all over inside just gross. People around us all had issues also. Overall not a good experience. Would like a partial refund not sure how to go about that."

"The property itself was okay. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a full kitchen so we could heat up leftovers. We didn't have a.c. at first, but they put one in after our first day. There was a lot of noise from the street, but it didn't bother us much. There was supposed to be Wi-Fi, but there wasn't. We couldn't watch the Roku because of that. Overall, it was in a convenient location in St. Ignace."
