"In most respects the property was very comfortable to stay at and my wife, dog and I felt very relaxed. Two downsides which were out of the owners control is that there is nowhere close by to buy food or supplies. There is a general store but it has been closed down for awhile now and it's website doesn't make that clear, so stop at the town of Minlaton (20km's away) and lay in supplies first. Everything else is provided. This area relies on water tanks which requires pumps to provide water for...

"Just a couple of things. The DVD player seems not to be working probably, should be checked. Just a few notes on how to operate the TV, satelite would go down well, too. And just little more of a note of what is available in the area, next petrol station, other services nearby and stuff to do (surf and swim beaches for example). Other than that exeptional."

"We took our 5 grandies for a holiday break. The Pines was an excellent place, the accommodation (Dolphin’s View) was idea for us all. Host communicated well prior to holiday which made things easy. Normally a beautiful beach the seaweed was very thick due to weather conditions, but children still found plenty to do. Locals were very nice with information of the area as well. Every one enjoyed the holiday and would not hesitate to return again. Thankyou"

"Lovely shack, well equipped, clean and close to the beach. The free WiFi was great! Would suggest adding some pedestal fans to the bedrooms as there is no AC in those rooms and it could get quite hot at night during the summer."

"We are a family of 6, Bernies was the perfect place for us. Directly on the beach so the children could wander down and explore when they wanted. Was so quiet and the shack had everything we needed. We will definitely be revisiting Bernies."
