"We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. "

"My husband and I loved the cabin. It was very comfy and we appreciated all of the extras provided by the host! The outdoor space was wonderful. We enjoyed the firepit (and S'mores!), the trail to the pond, and wildlife watching. Thanks for the food for humans, deer, and birds - what a bonus :) We also enjoyed all of the Mothman memorabilia as well. I think maybe we spotted Mothman over at the edge of the woods one night at dusk! Thanks for a fantastic stay - we'd love to come back. "

"Rivers Edge has become my home away from home. Chris and his wife are amazing people who want to every thing they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Miss Gena is the sweetest person and goes out of her way to make you the best homemade breakfast ever. I highly recommend this place "

"We had a really nice stay! My child loved the “no-grown-ups-allowed secret room” (lower bedroom) and playing Captain of the boat. The kitchen had everything you need; I was able to cook full meals using the griddle provided. "

"We really needed a break and a chance to unwind and Roger n Mary's place was the perfect place for it. We hiked, swam in the lake, watched the humming birds on the porch and got a good night's sleep every night. The house is lovely and accommodating and Roger n Mary are great hosts, making sure everything is right."

"Amazing house! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the kiddos! The house was stocked with everything we needed! Lots of fun things to do around downtown! Check out the “Our House” across the street! Tons of history there! Absolutely loved this little town and the people in it! "

"My daughters and I stayed at this quaint cabin for our Mothman trip. We woke up to cows mooing and beautiful views. I sat with my coffee watching the wildlife before we hopped in the kayaks and paddled around the pond. We ended our days with a chorus of frogs. About 20 min to Gallipolis and 35 to Point Pleasant, WV. Cabin is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. Host is easy to talk with if anything comes up. Nothing did. "

"Where do we start.. What an amazing place to get away. The house is beautiful and well stocked definitely everything you need just bring your food. The property is beautiful and so quiet. We rented 4 wheelers and had a blast on the trails they have around the property. Very clean and we will definitely be back. Thank you for the amazing stay…"

"We stayed here for a family wedding nearby and it was perfect! We had 5 adults and 1 child, but the house could have easily accommodated more. Great location—less than 15 minutes from the Green Valley Gathering Place, close to the highway, with plenty of parking. The owners were super responsive. Would definitely recommend!"

"A quant cabin tucked away in an absolutely beautiful area, a great place to go and get away for a little while. Definitely recommend staying here if you can, this is our second time staying in this area and will definitely be back in the future!"

"This property/property manager saved our wedding day! Our previous rental cancelled on us 2 days before we were supposed to check in and this property was shockingly available and could sleep all our invited guests. And it was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful and we all enjoyed being together but having our own space when we needed it. Our wedding day was saved and this house created the most beautiful backdrop! Shannon was so communicative from the moment we checked in and made sure...

"This property was the best place for my family and pet. It was secluded and peaceful. Only people we seen were the ones who cut the grass. My family loved the relaxation and stress free environment."

"We love the two separate cabins and enjoyed the fishing in the Ohio river. We even caught a catfish! We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was great from the host. We wish we could have stayed longer than 1 day. Watch out for the poison ivy on the bank but other than that, great stay!"
