Well kept, updated home in nice area of Poconos
This property is well kept and provides a good amount of room for grilling with the family, playing board games, watching TV, hanging out, and resting from the day’s activities. The home was clean and did not have strong smells like smoke, perfumes, or heavy pet smells. Neighbors are quiet and helped alert us to a bear with cubs nearby. The host left some snacks, coffee pods, and a few other items that had a personal touch. The host also left a binder with an overview of things, tips, and some rules. The home has Sonos, AppleTV, other smart devices, and fast internet. The foosball and an arcade machine were both well maintained. Additionally, access to the garage area helped store bikes, kayaks, and other gear. Overall, this is an excellent spot in the Poconos for vacationing or a fishing/hunting trip.
The only two points I can think of that could make things better for future guests would be to maybe make the wifi password more prominent in the rule book and possibly add an extra towel for ladies to dry their hair. Future guests should consider bringing towels if they need extra towels. A washer and dryer are available if guests want to wash the provided towels more frequently, but it would be nice to have one or two more. Everything else was excellent.
We did not pay the extra fees for the Lake Naomi membership because it had little value for us. Several lovely lakes are near this home, including Brady’s lake, Tobyhanna, and Gouldsboro. You can rent kayaks/canoes/paddle boats, swim, and fish in these areas without paying hundreds for the Naomi lake membership. However, you won’t be able to use the gym or other amenities as part of the club membership.
