Hotel muito novo, limpo, seguro e bem localizado. Fica acima de um ótimo supermercado, e tem uma churrascaria brasileira ao lado. Tem acesso fácil a quinta avenida e a praia. Fomos muito bem atendidos e o estacionamento é fácil e seguro. Quarto grande, confortável e completo. De ruim é o preço para café da manhã e o chuveiro que é muito fraquinho.... O café da mnhã vc pode comprar no supermercado e tomar no quarto..... já o chuveiro, não tem o que fazer... recomendo também a academia que é ótima e a piscina na cobertura, muito agradável e com linda vista. O custo benefício foi bem bom... recomendo,.

Hotel maravilhoso,com estrutura impecável. Tudo muito limpo e funcionando perfeitamente. Não conseguimos encontrar nenhum ponto negativo. A localização é perfeita,apenas alguns passos da 5ª avenida e todas as atrações de Playa… super mercado maravilhoso descendo as escadas rolante,alguns restaurantes também… sem dúvida um espetáculo de hotel…

The staff was lovely, especially at the pool area and housekeeping. The location is great and very walkable. Price was unbeatable for the quality, would recommend staying here.

The stay here was worth the time and money, the front desk staff was awesome and a special kudos to Alama who was so vey helpful during check in and check out. She was always ready to assist with information when asked. She was patient with me speaking English when I had an issue with my room and her communication skills were great. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it anyone looking for a great vacation

VIP Access property and front desk didn’t know what that is, she checked with another employee and she said they don’t honor it. Everything I asked was a no. If it wasn’t for the PM employees, I would give the front desk a 1 star. Nothing really sets this hotel apart from the many other hotels and AirBnBs I’ve stayed in Playa and I think I was expecting the same service/experience as the Aloft Cancún, friendly & upbeat.

We arrived at the Aloft Playa Del Carmen on April 26, 2024 for a quick mini vacation. I often visit this property as it has becoem one of my favorites. Upon arrival, we had to wait a little to check in as we arrived before 3pm. This was understood as this is a policy in which we are used to. About 330 we were finally given room keys and proceeded to our room. As we opened the door we were all greeted with sweltering heat. We contacted the front desk, and were informed that the AC was being worked on, and will be completed by 5pm. We decided to bear the heat, and it was finally generated about 5pm. In the middle of the night while sleeping, the ac proceeded to go out AGAIN. I myself woke up in a beading sweat, and looked at the temperature on the ac thermostat, and displayed was a temperature of 75 degrees, and i had it set to 72. I tossed and turned all night, to be greeted at 9am by the ac being shut off AGAIN. The temperature at this time was now 77 degrees and there was not any circulation of air in the room. This proceeded to take place for the remainder of our trip, which the night before my last night to stay, i was awaked sweating again, and the ac tempature was 81 degrees and i had it set to 65. The mamager knocked on a friend of mines door, and was advised they were working on the ac from 11 to 5pm. This experience ruined my entire trip.

Had a nice stay at Aloft in PDC. Staff was super friendly and the roof top pool/bar was awesome. Parking below hotel was a plus. Internet good. Bed was nice. 1 block from 5th Ave. Hotel had some AC issues but was not a deal breaker.

I had to stay 9 days. First 3 days we had no air conditioning. We had to have the patio door open. It was so hot we couldn’t sleep. Then flies were bitting us. Then our last 3 days they had construction in the hotel going and we couldn’t rest during the day. We want some kind of a refund. I use Expedia a lot and this was so unexceptable.

Me encantó la decoración , los espacios de la cafetería y lounge, muy buen bufete de desayuno, muy rico el café, muy amable la gente. A nice hotel loaded with all the essentials for someone that enjoys vacationing at the beach, go to a nice restaurants but also maintain their fitness. This place is next to a running track, which is virtually open all the time. The hotel also has an essential gym and two outdoor pools at the roof. Staying at this hotel to me was like staying at an Olympic Village. The entire staff was very friendly. Its located above of a supermarket that offers great cooked meals. Very convenient too! Our ion had no balcony, but I guess they have balcony options. They offer breakfast that can be purchased at additional cost if you don’t have a meal plan. We will return to this hotel on our next visit to playa.

We had no water for one day no shower no bathrooms and no faucet. And the we are working on it dont worry excuse. When we checked out we were trying to return the towels at 1215 and keys were locked and they said since you did your reservation with Expedia you have to fully check out or will be fully charged for another day. We could not return towels Since they had locked our keys and the were not being very helpful. Took us over 20 mins to make them realize if we didn't get access to elevators we could not go to the roof top pool to return the towels….really rude person other than that hotel ok area ok and convenient. Amazing how one person can ruin a stay or a rating
