"We loved the gardens and jungle trail around the hotel. Birds paradise. In addition to a regular pool, hot springs pools were very convenient too. The shower is a bit dated but overall clean and served its purpose. The breakfast was filling and tasty: scrambled eggs, white bread, cheese, rice and beans, sauteed veggies, fruits, yogurt, cereal, coffee. The personnel was polite and patient with all our questions. The view of volcano adds to the overall great impression. "

"This was truly a unique experience. I was sad our schedule only allowed us to stay one night, as I would loved to stay several days. Our room had a private pool, huge shower, and was surrounded by lush greenery. The breakfast buffet was good and the town was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful. We did the night hike and saw several tropical frogs, a snake and a sloth. I highly recommend a stay there!!"

"This was the 2nd time we have stayed there. We returned because of the amazing experience the 1st time last year and we got the same amazing stay this year. I think they are always cleaning and taking care of the property, so rooms and hotel look amazing. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, talkative and go out of their way to to ensure a good trip. They learn your name, even when only staying a few days.
