Our stay at Sunset Pointe was outstanding. Look no further! What a lovely apartment. It has all the amenities we needed to make our stay great. Comfy bed, handy bathrooms, plenty of outdoor lounging furniture, and enough kitchen equipment to cook a gourmet meal if we so desired. But with the great seafood in the village, why would we want to do that? Francisco set us up on a day long fishing snorkeling tour with Cagey. We caught several nice fish, and the snorkeling at Silk Cayes was beyond imagination. We saw eagle rays, sea turtles and a school of nurse sharks all in the same area! We spent plenty of time lounging around the pool/hot tub, and enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the veranda or out on the boat dock. We enjoyed our coffee and evening cocktails on the boat dock with incredible views of the water, sunset, etc. Amazing views in the early morning hours, or early evenings! We enjoyed fantastic evening meals at Dawn’s, Rumfish Y Vino, Secret Garden and Wendy’s. You must try the Gelato at Tutti Frutti. Totally to die for! We also spent a couple fun hours at the Pickled Parrot chatting it up with the American expats, drinking Belikins and devouring some American appetizers. We will return to Placencia, next time for a longer stay. And we will stay at Sunset Pointe again. Thank You Janis!
