"We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the Crown Inn. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was on the small side but it was well equipped and very clean, with a comfy bed too. The ensuite was perfect. We ate ate the Inn and all our meals were good and tasty, especially the breakfast with a good range of options. "

"I stayed in the Helm Crag room which has fantastic views of the surrounding hills. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the shower superb. The whole room is immaculate and super clean. "I had a lovely stay at Hillsdale - Steve and Caz were fantastic hosts who couldn't be more helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a great way to get the day started. It's located really close to all the local amenities, there's great walks on the doorstep and the bus stop is a couple of minutes walk if you want to go further. "

"Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future."
