"The check in was amazing and hotel staff are lovely. Room was very clean, we stayed for a week. Would have liked the room to be cleaned once during our stay which didn't happen, room was small and the carpet become dirty. The view was amazing from outside our room. The stairs to get to our room were problematic as they were aged, and felt unsafe. Loved the location, very close to local shops where you coukd drive or walk, and the local park. Most days we had swans and ducks visting which was...

"Newly renovated with a very comfortable room. The pub was also a very nice venue for a quiet drink and nice meal. I’ll be back with my wife for a few days and explore the Hunter region."

"This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing. "

"Lovely spot! Leann was an absolute gem! The rooms were clean and spacious and we had a beautiful kitchen. Was a wonderful litttle getaway and would stay there again for sure. Feedback: Would like AC in bedrooms. Pool towels available for swimming across the road."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a problem with our room so the lovely person on reception gave us an upgrade to a fantastic room. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Pool area on the lake was so relaxing. Hotel aesthetic was great, it felt like a lot of care goes into the look and function of everything. Would definitely reccomend."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the room, it was clean, bright and spotless, the kitchen had a microwave, toaster and kettle, fridge and freezer. There was air conditioning which kept the room nice and cool. The bathroom was lovely, hand wash and shampoo and conditioner was supplied. We had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to return."

"Wir waren mit dem Hotel insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Auch das dazugehörige Restaurant bietet gute Speisen an. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ebenfalls ist der Balkon angenehm. Die Betten bieten einen wunderbaren Schlafkomfort. Die Garage bietet schattige Plätze. Ausserdem haben wir unsere Wäsche in der vorhandenen Waschmaschine/Wäschetrockner auf Fordermann gebracht. Alles in allem sehr gut"

"Nada contra a equipe. Só que é um motel antigo, quartos pequenos, com 2 camas de casal. Tem torradeira, chaleira elétrica e frigobar. Na frente tem uma taberna com caça niqueis e uma loja de bebidas. Fica longe de tudo, em Gateshead, 10 km a Sw de Newcastle."
