"Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!"

"The property was well maintained and easy to use for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls. "

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Julian Cabins. Judy, the host, was welcoming and gave us a lot of information both in the notebook in the cabin and our chats. We stayed in the Thieves Den cabin which is lakeside with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed. Our 2 adult children joined us for a few days and slept in the bunk beds - they loved it - brought back childhood memories! My sister rented the cabin behind us, the Kingfisher. Also a nice cabin. ...
