Check in was very smooth and easy. The home comfortably fit all 12 of us, including baby! You will need to bring your own carving or big kitchen knives if you’re going to grill or cook, that would require larger knives than just or slicing. The bedrooms, except the master could do with a little bit more furniture and think about if a guest might be reading since there are only two TVs one in the main room and one in the master bedroom. Of course we pick the hottest week that Pinetop Lakeside has seen in many many years and obviously Phoenix was extremely hot this last week so a home without air conditioning was pretty uncomfortable through no fault of theirs. It did not cool down enough in the upstairs bunk rooms or the downstairs room with the trundle bed. Those three bedrooms were very very hot. Most of the kids ended up coming down to the den to sleep on the floor. The bedrooms could use a trashcan and maybe a long full length mirror somewhere in the house since the bathrooms were very dimly lit and if you wanted to check out what you were wearing, there is really no place or anyway that you could do that. I would also have housekeeping, clean the cobwebs out of the windows and check for spiders. Add a guestbook for the guests to record what they enjoyed and places they went to etc. This is a very friendly neighborhood. We saw elk and free range horses with three foals this morning across the street! We really had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our getaway So much!
