Très bon séjour chez Esther, Pineda del mar

Excellent accueil. Esther est très agréable et très disponible. Malgré le barrage de la langue, nous avons réussi à communiquer. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans sa grande et belle maison! Regroupement familial pour fêter des anniversaires: petits enfants 18 ans et moi-même 70 ans. Sans oublier les 2 bacheliers. Endroit calme loin des bruits de la ville. Nous avons beaucoup aimé et en plus en famille c était le paradis.

Perfect for relaxation (would not recommend for party people or sightseeing lovers)

Due to circumstances on our way to the house, we arrived much later than expected. The host was kind and understanding, no problems. (We’d suggest a self check in for less stressful arrivals for both, the host and the guests.) As a group of 9 this house provided enough space for us, we don’t think more than 10 people could fit to provide a comfortable stay though. The room with the loft bed seems to be without air conditioning, windows or outlets. The house consists of three floors, one bathroom on each floor. The outside area is great to hangout together because the pool, the table, deck chairs and the grill are not separated. Meaning you don’t have to do the same thing and still get to spend time together, perfect for us. The pool is not as big as it appears in the picture, but it does easily fit multiple people + it allows you to sit around and hang out very comfortable, dangling your feet in the water. We enjoyed the pool a lot. The train station/beach is a good 20–25 min walk away, you can stop midway at the supermarket which is pretty helpful. We preferred the pool over the beach due to the distance + the house is uphill. If you go down to the beach, you’ll find enough bars, restaurants, gift shops to spend time as well (totally recommend L‘Antic Restaurant, it’s so good we went there twice in one week). If you walk down to the station to take a train, it takes about 1,5 hours to get to Barcelona. The house was clean when we arrived, no complaints. The kitchen has enough room to allow several people to prepare food together. Dishwasher and washing machine are provided, we also found soap for both in the cabinets. A set of towels for everyone was provided too, just bring a large towel for the beach. To put it in a nutshell, we did have a great time at Esther’s house. Some things were not quite what we expected but overall the house provided a comfortable stay. Would not recommend for a group larger than 10 though.

Ein toller Mädelsurlaub

Mit 9 Mädels haben wir das Ferienhaus von Esther für eine Woche gemietet. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz, viele Schalfzimmer und drei Bäder. Besonders die große Küche und der Garten mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und dem Pool hat uns überzeugt . Esther ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die uns total nett und zuvorkommend begrüßt hat. Trotz der Sprachbarriere konnte alles ganz einfach und unkompliziert kommuniziert werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Huis Pineda de mar via VRBO

Het begon al goed bij aankomst was de beheerster er en een stuk of 4 mensen aanwezig bij het huis,electriciteit was niet in orde ,ze waren wezig hiermee en uiteindelijk provisorisch in elkaar gezet ,beheerdster kan geen engels en dit was toch wel een comunnicatieprobleem voor ons ,volgende dag was dit toch wel een groot probleem er was electriciteit bij het zwembad daar zaten we dus helemaal niet op te wachten en iedereen ging gehaast het zwembad uit ,erg gevaarlijk en waren boos,hele dag onze privecy weg omdat de beheerdster ,zoon en neef hiermee bezig gingen en kondden dus niet zwemmen , na een hele lange stressvolle dag hadden ze iets gemaakt ,om stroom in de hele keuken te krijgen moest men een stekker in het stopcontact doen (zo hoort het toch niet ) ,bij controle van huis waren er nog meer dingen niet afgewerkt grote gaten boven kozijn (badkamer beneden),plinten met spijkers los,waar men intrapte,rolluik 1 ste verdieping ging niet of nauwelijks naar beneden,airco slaapkamer beneden deed het niet,badkamer deur kapot(zolder),trapleuning los, poortdeur gaat heel moeizaaim dicht en open waardoor we er niet in kwamen s avonds met veel wrinken en drukken kwamen we er in,we hebben VRBO direct ingeschakeld maar het duurde zolang dat we contact hadden en werden telkens doorverbonden met iemand anders ,dit schoot niets op we zouden een mail van hun krijgen met optie 's maar deze nooit gehad ,we verbleven een weekje en niets meer van hun gehoord (vrbo)voor ander huisje of compensatie ,dit ook aan de beheerdster gevraagd (compensatie) maar zij wou er niets van weten en moesten maar contact met vrbo opnemen. We moesten blijven en hebben er toch nog iets van kunnen maken door veel weg te gaan maar dit gaf zo'n domper op onze vakantie en vooral omdat er vanuit de vrbo geen directe actie was ondernomen.

Toller Urlaub

Wir haben unseren Urlaub genossen! Danke Esther! Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und wir standen die Tage über in Kontakt wenn wir etwas wissen wollten, hat sie direkt geantwortet und war sehr zuvorkommend! Das Haus war ganz nett und gut ausgestattet sodass wir mit drei Familien alle unseren eigenen Bereich hatten (das war uns wichtig). Zum Strand konnte man zu Fuß ohne Probleme laufen und ein Aldi war in unmittelbarer Nähe sowie andere Supermärkte! Alles schnell erreichbar. Der Pool und der Garten sehen auf den Bildern größer aus als die sind aber völlig ausreichend! Wir waren zufrieden und würden das Haus wieder mieten!

Belle villa proche de la mer

Nous sommes arrivés en famille à la villa et Esther nous a très bien accueillis et était très sympathique. La description sur internet correspond bien à la maison qui est spacieuse. La piscine est superbe et tout est bien entretenu. La maison en elle même est très jolie, en bonus la chambre au 2eme étage donne accès sur un roof top avec vue sur la mer. Le jardin est petit mais tout est bien aménagé pour passer de bons moments. Petits points à améliorer pour les futurs arrivants: il manque la climatisation dans des chambres au 1er étage, nous n'avons pas eu de canicule donc pas de problème; Frigo: il est un peu petit pour le nombre de personnes pouvant résider dans la maison (de même pour la poubelle); il manque quelques plats pour cuisiner. Dans les salles de bains, il manque une poubelle et tapis. En conclusion nous avons passé un super séjour !!! Merci Esther

Sehr schönes Haus mit geilem Grill und abkühlenden Pool

Das Haus bietet viel Platz für mehrere Personen/ Familien. Der Garten bietet sich an zum Sonnen, Spielen und Grillen. Der Pool ist gut zum Abkühlen geeignet und zum chilln. Aldi und ein spanischer Supermarkt sind in fussläufiger Reichweite. Einfach die Straße runterlaufen und schon ist man da. Ester ist sehr nett und hilft wo sie kann. Sie spricht nur Spanisch, aber durch Ihr Handy kann sie alles in anderen Sprachen übersetzen. Klimaanlage muss man extra nachfragen und Zahlen, aber sie funktionieren einwandfrei. Gerne wieder dahin

Great house but pool very disappointing size.

Esther was there to welcome us and show us around when we arrived. She can't speak English but has an app on her phone so this was not a problem at all. She was very welcoming and available if we had any questions or problems. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped although a kettle would have been nice, we managed with the microwave. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the hot tub/jacuzzi was a welcome treat. The only negative point was the very small pool. The photos of the garden make the whole outside look a lot bigger than it is. The sunloungers were dangerous (in my opinion) the cushions covered the fact that there was extensive wear and tear and when you sat on it you fell through the large hole. There are more sunbeds on the roof top so we used these instead. We all had a lovely holiday. It was ideal location for our trips to Figueras to see the Dali museum (which took about an hour by car) and also Barcelona which took about about an hour too. It is a quiet residential neighbourhood with a lot of dogs barking but this was not a problem. Pineda de Mar has a lovely beach which you can walk along via a long footpath. The food and tapas were good everywhere we went.

Super vacances

Très belle maison moderne bien entretenue belles prestations. Un petit bémol la piscine est un peu petite. Parfait pour une ou deux familles. Propriétaire très sympathique.
