"My room had all the important requirements, clean sheets, bathroom, and floors. Shower had hot water and great water pressure. The owner was kind enough to allow me keep my flowers outside on the sidewalk in front of my room. Nice and friendly old style motor lodge that were so prominent in my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. "

"We decided to break up our long trip home and stayed at the Bolling Wilson hotel the night of July 4th and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is in the heart of downtown Wytheville and Main Street was closed for a street fair, literally right out the front door. There was an awesome fireworks display that night which we were able to watch from the rooftop bar. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing not rating 5 stars would be...

"Awesome spot near the highway. Rooms are big, free breakfast, small gym, and an indoor pool. Pretty good overall. Just wish the front desk staff was better."

"This is a great hotel. We stayed here for the second time on our way from Toronto to Myrtle Beach. It was as good as last year: very clean - when you enter it smells cleanliness (Lysol:), the room is also very clean and fresh. I think we also got the same suit, at least it looked very similar. It was very quiet, beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious - I love biscuits & gravy. Highly recommend!"

"Not impressed with the quality of the hotel, big empty sparse spaces, its the only decent option around the college, so I guess the hotel management cashes in on the location, but the quality and lack of breakfast options was not impressive"
