"To start - not real sure how Shaun or Victoria managed to train the local wildlife but i knew we were in the right place when we first arrived in the driveway and in a somewhat disney fasion a deer and rabbit were chasing each other around the front yard so..... yeah it gets better the house so described as charming by the home owners is spot on we hadn't been halfway through our trip when my wife ask (think they would sell) nature abounds here as mentioned above we watched bunnies and bevers...

"This is a great property with ample indoor/ outdoor space for a large group. The interior looks like an HGTV set with a gorgeous kitchen / living area. We also enjoyed the outdoor space spending time on the covered deck, hot tub, & lovely fire circle. The multiple fridges in the kitchen, on the deck, upstairs, & wine cooler made grabbing a beverage convenient. Also convenient to FCF State Park which our family has visited for years with many great memories. Host was very responsive to requests....

"We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

"This was an absolutely beautiful property right on the lake! We enjoyed the wonderful views, the nicely landscaped and manicured yard, the covered patio, the hot tub and the fishing. The layout of the house was great and being a single story layout made everything convenient. I especially enjoyed the kitchen with the coffee nook. It was so spacious that it made cooking easy, which meant I didn’t need to spend extra money eating out all the time. There were also a number of grocery stores...

"Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved the cabin and all the farm animals. Lots of nice touches throughout the property. We enjoyed a day of relaxing on the lake between hike days. We used the canoe, enjoyed fishing, and had our first experience with kayaking. Also enjoyed a walk around the lake. Loved our two doggie mascots and the ponies. Saw the pig and a cat but only saw the peacocks from a distance. We had lots of laughs with the rooster. He certainly took his job seriously. We highly recommend...

The location in proximity to the surrounding waterfalls and - parks is perfect.Now I want to speak about the owners Curt & JoAnn, they are great people and now I will forever call them friend. I had a medical issue while there and I don’t know what my wife would have done without their loving assistance. Great people and place. We will be back"

"This was the perfect stay for me and a friend who were visting the surrounding area for the waterfalls. We mainly needed a place to sleep and this little cabin was perfect. The small kitchen had everything we needed and the shower pressure was better than expected. There wasnt much room for "hanging out" but there was a table outside and a fire pit. The host responded quickly and left clear directions. "
