We had a wonderful week at Waters Edge. The space accommodated our entire family. We enjoyed the decks, beautiful scenery, the game room, hot tub and pool.We definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Beautiful house! Great community Kids loved game room!You do see other houses only one close Road on one side for houses behind this house so you do see other people and cars Not secluded if that’s what you are looking for Fishing pond across street You can fish or watch others fish from balcony Didn’t see anyone catch anything Family of 11 6 adults 5 teenagersAdults slept in 3 bedrooms 3 teenage girls slept in queen bunk 2 boys slept on couchesEach family shared a bathroom Made it work Saw several animals Nice trail behind house Kids stayed busy didn’t go to pool Not handicap friendly driveway is steep Five steps to entry door Stairs to lower level steep My husband could walk up to door but not down to game room Not far from a dollar general. Best dg store I’ve ever seen!Company great to work with easy entry Good Wi-Fi after signing in Would stay here again!

Decent cabin, but…

Overall the cabin was nice and clean. Large enough to accommodate my family of 6 adults and a 4 year old and 2 dogs. However, here are some issues we had. Numerous loose, chipped, and broken tiles on the floor and stairs. BE CAREFUL as they can lead to tripping, falling, and potentially cutting your feet if you don’t have shoes on. Some of the pictures of the bedrooms are a little deceiving. The bunk bed room is so tight it’s not easy to get between the bed and the wall and is extremely dark in there even with the light on. Temperature control in the cabin was also an issues. Thermostat in the upstairs loft area was fine, but only 1 other thermostat for the rest of the cabin between the main floor and the lower level. The lower level stayed extremely cold and the main floor stayed hot for the entire trip. Lastly, parking is a major issue. Pictures do not provide good idea of how parking is for the cabin. Nearly got my vehicle stuck trying to turn into the driveway. Thankfully the cabin up the hill did not have guest because we had to go past the cabin, go up the hill, turn around, and come back down just to get into the driveway. Also, if you don’t have a 4wd vehicle I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this cabin and a low clearance vehicle might not make it up the hill because it is so uneven and steep. Would I stay at this cabin again? Probably, but only because I now know what to expect now.

Wonderful cabin! Get code before arrival

Waters Edge Lodge was a great cabin for our family's gathering. Since my husband passed, every year my 4 adult kids and I gather for my Famiversary. Cabin is just as photos represent. We had a few cobwebs but it was clean otherwise. It is located near other cabins but for most part it feels isolated. We did have loud music and voices until 2 am coming from cabin across the stream for three of the nights. That is not the fault of our host, disobedience to rules simply is the way our society seems to be now.The relaxing catch and release pond had plenty of koi but we caught no trout. The only thing I found to be troublsome was the lack of cell reception. I would suggest anyone using the check in to get keycode before approaching location. We had to drive back out to get code after we arrived because cell service is not available. We had several different providers and none worked. Once you are able to log into cabin's WiFi, you can use that to call and text easily. Red Door staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this beautiful cabin!!

Absolutely FANTASTIC Cabin for families!!!!

This was literally the nicest place any of us had ever stayed! It was very spacious and plenty of options for entertainment and the view off the front side of the cabin was beautiful! I will be renting this cabin every time I have a large group going to Seveirville area!

Mountain relaxing

We had a great time getting the family together. This place has tons of activities and room for larger families with ample deck space, large kitchen and dining table and more. However, there were a few things that were not ideal for our situation. 1. The Hot Tub was not working. The temperature was 107 the entire time, something we were unwilling to get into. We tried to adjust and left the cover off for a bit and still no changes. 2. The stairs down to the basement were crumbling. A lot of the rocks and grout were falling off, and we had elderly people and children, so it was a tripping hazard. 3. The TV remotes are all broken, so changing the channel is impossible. 4. Many of the cooking pans provided are warped so it was difficult to cook at home. 5. The Grill outside also is not in working order. only 1/2 of the grill works. The space could use some improvements and adjustments. I know that rentals get beat up but for the price we paid for a 4 day stay it's a little disappointing that we were unable to use all the space provided to it's maximum potential.

Awesome family oriented cabin!

Beautiful property full of wildlife and gorgeous landscaping, nature hikes. Plenty for everyone to enjoy, both on the property and in the cabin. We ranged in age from 15 months to 67 years old and all of us had a blast and made some fun memories. Not too far from attractions, but far enough away for it to seem that you are on a carefree serene vacation!

This place was amazing, very beautiful home and convenient to everything. My family and I have been coming up here for the past 5 yrs and its been the best yet.. We will be staying here again and highly recommend it for others..

Fantastic Family Get Away

We rented Waters Edge for our family of 10 for Christmas. It was a gift we gave each other. The house was perfect for us and the doggos. It was clean and well stocked and close enough for us to venture out for the day. There was plenty of room for the kids to retreat to the basment to play pool and board games. The communication with Red Door Getaway was great. They had quick responses when we had questions and reached out to us to check if everything was ok. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Best vacation in the mountains yet!

We absolutely loved this beautiful lodge/cabin! It was so nicely decorated, all the beds were extremely comfortable and there was more than enough room for all 11 of us! If the weather is not on your side, this place is fully stocked with board and card games galore. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat for the week as well as seasonings and coffee filters. The master suite is gorgeous! We will definitely be back and can’t wait.

Beautiful Property

The owners were very nice and attentive. Beautiful property and loved making smores with the kids around the fire pit. Hot tub was great! Convenient location to downtown about 5 miles away.

Family Gathering

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Waters Edge! The house and views are gorgeous! Very quick ride into town from the neighborhood. We loved the HUGE TV downstairs, the game room, and the two large porches for morning coffee. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are the driveway is not the easiest to get up, you have to get a running start. Also the beds were super hard. But would definitely recommend the cabin overall!

Loved waters edge cabin in the fall!

We had a wonderful stay at Waters Edge Lodge. The cabin was amazing! The views were stunning! We all loved the game room and hot tub. Also it was very convenient to Pigeon Forge.
