"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. "If you're looking for privacy and serenity, this is the place to stay! The property is well maintained. The Buckhannon river is only a rocks throw away and the sound of the water was very calming. I am from West Virginia and know that area fairly well, but my Garmin GPS took me to this property with no issue. "

"The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. "My husband & I spent 3 summer nights (June 23-25) in this brand new cabin. Perfect for two! The owner still has a little work to do on the property, but when it’s done, it will surely be a sweet little mountain retreat, especially for the winter skiers. Just a 1/2 hr from Cass, WV (scenic railroad trip) - the purpose for our trip. I highly recommend Cozy Cabin!! "
