The hotel itself was nice. Our room was clean and we had a lovely view. I did not realize I booked the "destination package" which included daily drink tickets for coffee, margaritas, and their wellness smoothies. So this was a pleasant surprise. However, the hot tub was out of order and this is the only reason why I chose the Westin. There are not many hotel options in the area with a hot tub, so I narrowed it down to the few I found and I chose the Westin because I was very excited about the rooftop pool/hot tub/bar. After speaking with the front desk agent, it sounds like the hot tub is always out of order, or has been broken for a while and they don't know how to fix it. If that’s the case, this should have been noted on their website. I would have not chosen to stay at this hotel. The Westin was also the more expensive option of the hotels I was considering, so I was definitely disappointed given the hot tub was the reason I chose this hotel. Additionally, although our room was very clean and beautiful, this may have been the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. I could hear every conversation in the hallway, every door opening and closing, and I could even hear the 6:30am cellphone alarm coming from the room next to me. I felt like I had to whisper in my own room so others wouldn't hear us. Beautiful hotel and location, but I wouldn't chose to stay here again for these 2 reasons.
