Great Location and very responsive host

We stayed for 3 nights for my wife's birthday. The apartment is in a very modern building with a pool, hot tub, gym, common areas, gas grill and a parking spot. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Kevin, the host is very responsive to any messages and check in with the lockbox was easy. It is a short walk to Chase Field, the Convention Center and the Footprint Center (Basketball & Shows). There are a variety of restaurants within walking distance varying from fine dining to taco's. It is about a 25 minute drive to Scottsdale and a 15 minute drive to the Desert Botanical Gardens. We enjoyed both those areas.There were a few downsides to the property. It shows signs of wear and tear with missing towel racks, missing toilet paper holder and dents and bangs in the walls. We also found several lights burned out and one of the games did not work. Kevin offered to have them fixed at some point the following day but as I am handy I offered to buy light bulbs and batteries for the game and install them. It wasn't a big expense but when I requested to be reimbursed Kevin was pedantic about the level of detail required to get reimbursed. It became very frustrating to go back and forth with many texts and phone calls detracting from our vacation. Fortunately, in the end he reimbursed me the full amount. The bottom line is that I definitely recommend staying at the apartment for its spaciousness, location and amenities. Kevin will probably fix the minor issues too.
