The hotel website says “start your day with continental breakfast” and also “continental breakfast available,” which led us to assume breakfast was included. However, when we went downstairs in the morning, we were met with a very abrupt and rude hostess/ and or breakfast attendent. My husband was trying to ask questions about breakfast and she kept interrupting him. Firm voice, no eye contact, it was just such a strange interaction. We were then given a menu with prices comparable to a nice restaurant. We saw a couple other people bring breakfast to go back from outside restaurants, which confirms the vague description on their site. Saying breakfast is “available” without adding “for purchase” is misleading and gives a strange impression. It added unnecessary inconvenience to the start of our day.
The room lacked a smart TV, which is just something to note. The microwave and AC were quite loud. The elevator is very slow, squeaky, and shakes noticeably going up and down, something to look into. Front desk staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in interaction, while not a major issue alone - it just added to an overall off experience.
Positives included a clean room, comfortable bed, quiet environment, and convenient parking. Clearer communication, friendlier service, and better transparency would improve the experience.
