Ocotillo Apartments and Hotel is a unique hybrid property, part apartment and part hotel, just as the name suggests. If you go in understanding that it is a budget-friendly stay with minimal amenities, it delivers exactly that.
We stayed five days and were content with our choice. The room was simple but adequate with a comfortable bed, a couple of outlets, a microwave, and a fridge. It worked well for what we needed.
The bathroom included single-use shampoo and body lotion. It would be great to see the property keep its minimalist approach but add basic soap for washing hands and body. We were provided one roll of toilet paper initially and were able to get another at the front desk without issue.
Overall, the property is fine and works well if your expectations align with a no-frills, value-focused stay. Sharing this to help future guests set expectations in advance. There is also a standard $100 deposit required at check-in.
