"Off grid getaway tucked deep in the redwoods— arrival itself is an adventure. The apartment is a quiet, peaceful nook with an eclectic touch. The grounds are highly explorable and our pup had a wonderful time. Wondering around and waking up next to the rushing Eel River was a beautiful experience. Great place to stay if your goal is to disconnect for a while. 10/10 will return. "

"This house was everything we hoped it would be. The views and location are excellent - Just a short walk to the beach and very convenient to hiking and biking trails and to the store and town. The house is spacious with large windows and deck and had everything we needed. The hosts are charming and helpful and enriched are stay. We hope to return."

"This was our first visit to northern California. We had a great view of the cove where there were sea lions and seals and enjoyed watching the birds and deer from the porch. We traveled to the redwoods which were not far. We also explored the General Store and enjoyed a meal at the brewery in Shelter Cove. All communication with the homeowner was prompt and courteous. Perfect trip!"

"My employee and I stayed here one night for two days of work in the Shelter Cove area. This house was really nice, clean and roomy for the two of us. Close to the Cove and the brewery - our favorite place to eat and have a cold one after field work. The neighborhood was quiet, the property behind this house is a bit of an eyesore, but not a big deal for us. I would definitely stay here again."

"I stayed here as apart of a driving trip up the coast; I was a little nervous about the drive up but Ernesto and Ana were SO kind. Ernesto gave me helpful tips of where to go to the store and what to do in the area. The tent and location was beyond gorgeous. It had rained during my stay and it was beautiful to hear the rain and sleep so soundly. I was nervous about the rain but Ana and Ernesto helped me out and it only rained during the evening which became a really memorable and enjoyable part...

"We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!"

"Friends from separate areas of California convened in Shelter Cove for a girls trip. Waterfall cove house was wonderful. The pictures don’t do it justice in that it doesn’t show the landscaping (someone is obviously a plant lover) and the wonderful, sometimes quirky, decorating details. The space was cozy and soooooo quiet. From sitting on the back deck by the fire watching the sunset to having morning hot beverages on the upper deck or just watching a movie on the big soft sofa waterfall cove...
