Spend your next vacation on a getaway to this beautifully remodeled 3-bed, 2-bath cabin on Pike Lake. Located on 3 acres with 225 feet of lakefront, this vacation rental provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere and easy access to the Pike Lake chain and all of its activities. Take a stroll out on the 48-ft pier and fish for walleye musky and panfish, or if the fish arenā€™t biting, explore the miles of trails in Chequamegon National Forest where you can also hunt ruffled grouse and deer with ease.

EXCELLENT summer getaway week!

We have a family cabin on Pike Lake, but we are now 3 generations so my family (6 adults & 3 grandkids) stayed in these two nearby cabins, which could easily accommodate more. This property, with both cabins, is perfect for an extended family. Location is excellent ... it is private, with a beautiful setting directly on the lake and with great lake views from both cabins. If you aren't familiar with the area, there are several restaurants/bars nearby, and both Minocqua and Park Falls are an easy drive for shopping, more restaurants, etc.Cabins and property were clean, modern and the furnishings and decor reflect this is the owners' personal home vs an investment rental property. Everything was as described.One particular high point was the fact that the great room in each cabin is large, so there is plenty of space to play games, watch TV if you like, and eat comfortably ....especially if it's raining. Each cabin has a nice patio area to enjoy the outside with great views of the lake.Kitchens and laundry appliances were modern and more than adequate. Kichens were well stocked with what we needed. There were large TVs (if that's of interest), strong WiFi and plenty of parking.Lastly, I had a few questions prior to check in and during our stay. The owner responded quickly and was easy to communicate with both via phone and email. He was very friendly and helpful.I am already planning our stay for next year!

Bachelor Weekend - Ice Fishing Trip

We had 8 guys spend 3 nights at this property. Cabin is wonderful and has a beautiful large open concept living room and kitchen. The presentation of everything is stunning with great natural light and accent lighting throughout. The couches were comfy, or comfy for 20 something year olds to crash on. There were also reclining options that were appreciated. Perfect house for a group of couples to rent out, maybe a large group of friends if you do not mind cuddling. We were able to see the lake from the beautiful front windows, which was awesome for tip up fishing. There is a second cabin on the property that is nearby. The owner stayed in this cabin the first night, but gave us our privacy for the most part. (This was out of the ordinary from what I was told, they were working on the cabins). Cabin was fairly clean, though random things were messy. There was an odd splatter on the wall from (what looked to be) soda, fridge was dirty, and other little things. They did say that the previous renters were messy and broke things, so I will cut them some slack.The property sits up on a hill overlooking the lake. It is truly a beautiful place and is very quiet and peaceful. Neighboring properties are spaced out and very secluded. During our stay we also visited the local casino and we heavily recommend the Black Bear bar and grill as a place to visit. A little further away, but it is worth the drive. Overall, great property and location. Will likely rent again.

This property was very comfortable and homey, and the amenities were as described. Excellent place and with a beautiful view!It was a great place for our group to stay. We had plenty of room for everyone. We are ice fishing lovers, that was the best part. Check in was easy and the host was helpful with any questions at any time!Would definitely stay there again!

Some surprise

Poor inventory of supplies ( no charcoal, extra toilet paper, paper toweling - 3 trash bags ). Couldnā€™t find the bbq grill. Poor selection of cooking supplies (spice selection poor). Access door on north side of building could not be opened (safety hazard). Windows need regular cleaning/washing. No firewood for fire pit or extra for fireplace (a few pieces).

Great up north get away

This was a great place to stay ( little slice of heaven in the north woods) cabin was very nice and had the right touches, right on the water , great fishing and scenic views of the sunset. We will be back!

Snowmobile Getaway

Great location with great food nearby. Home was beautiful. Excellent location for snowmobiling and trails. Definitely would like to go back. Parking with a 4 place trailer was do able but challenging. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great Property, Not so great Communication

The cabin is beautiful and in a great location. I am very picky and I it overall passed the test for cleanliness. I would love to give 5 stars in all categories, but cannot due to poor communication with the property management team. I requested multiple times to rent the boat that is available. I sent messages to VRBO. They advised me that I would need to send through the property management team Evolve. I sent the request to Evolve months in advance. I finally received a message about 3 days before our arrival time stating that the boat is available. I would never wait that long to reserve our main source of entertainment so I had already booked a boat on a different lake and therefore we did not get to utilize the lake much at all. Also, the house sleeps 10 and I originally had 6 in my party. Two weeks prior to our arrival date, I went online and updated my reservation to 9 as some of our family members were able to make arrangements in their schedule to join us. I received a message while driving to the cabin on check in day that the reservation was updated to 9. We could not find any clean linens for the pull out sofa bed or the air mattress so I reached out to the owner and he advised me that he was not made aware of the increase in guest. He stated he would get in touch with the property manager to get additional linens and towels to the cabin. We did not receive the additional items as promised so we had to wash dirty linens we found in the home. I reached out to Thomas (owner) directly to let him know the management team did not bring the linens/towels and he did not respond at all. The next time he responded was on our departing day to tell me it was ok to leave the keys on the island. The kitchen was very well stocked which is great. I would invest in some more bathroom and kitchen linens. We all had to reuse our towels the entire time we were there because there was not enough towels and there were shop rags in the kitchen drawers to do the dishes. This is truly a great property and I loved the location, but there is definitely room to improve in communication.

Nice getaway place

This property was spacious and clean. There were four of us but there could have been eight with no problem. While not a great lake for fishing due to being too flat it's on a four lake chain that's nice for cruising around. We had our own boat but if not the available pontoon would have been a good idea. We had a very good time.

Wonderful Fishing Trip

This was our first time staying at this property and also fishing the pike chain. The house was beautiful with comfy new furniture and a nice big table that fit us all. We loved the open concept. It had everything we needed , including nice front loading laundry machines. The beds were all comfortable and the rental was very clean. Weā€™ll definitely be back next year. The fishing was great and so many memories were made. 5 stars for sure! Thanks Tom for having us!

Guys week fishing trip

We stayed here as a backup plan to our normal Canada fishing trip. There are two cabins on the property. We were in the big cabin. The cabin was excellent. Very spacious inside. We had 6 guys, and it was plenty of space. Loved having a dishwasher and laundry. Nice new gas stove. Loved the north woods cabin theme inside. The beds were big and comfortable. The chain of lakes was beautiful. Fishing was tough given the weather and time of year, but we found nice big crappies. Game fish were tough to find, but they are there. The fish are thick and healthy. The lakes were clean and are perfect for other activities like skiing, tubing, jet skis and swimming. Vehicle parking is limited and the pier can get crowded if both cabins are occupied. We had 3 fishing boats. The cabin next to us had one pontoon boat. We had to beach one of our boats as there wasnā€™t room on the pier. But the shore is sandy and there was a spot to beach a boat. The walk to the water is down a hill which would be a challenge for someone handicapped or who requires assistance. But the cabin would accommodate handicapped people. We loved the place and would definitely stay here again.

Bad communication

As we are older we would have preferred a flatter approach to dock and lake. Communication between property manager and us was really bad. We thought we would have a boat to use. Pontoon boat was brand new but an agreement on its use was never finalized. So we ended up with no way to fish. We hired a guide to take us out so we could at least catch fish! Place was nice communication was bad

Wisconsin Vacation

Great experience at this cabin. It is very well laid out with high end appliances that we really enjoyed! Furniture in the cabin is comfy! The view of Pike Lake was amazing. Fishing could have been better as we caught 0 fish (maybe itā€™s the fishermen)!! We did use the canoe several times and it helped to view the lake from another vantage point.
