"This place is a perfect location for you and your family to experience the country life out west. It has everything you would expect from a country setting. The house was clean, and the kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal or warm up leftovers. The hot tub was a nice bonus. But the best part was the view of the mountains and the gorgeous horses in the neighboring field. The horses would come to the fence and look at us, and we would spend hours watching them. "In two words... "jaw dropping." The online photos (sorry VRBO) did not begin to do it justice. This circa 1951 property was remodeled recently with numerous high-end touches. All rooms were spacious and well appointed. The main bath had a huge walk-in shower with 4 showering options and 4 correlating faucet handles. Additionally, it had a large, free standing tub and dual sinks. The large kitchen was outfitted with plentiful, beautiful cabinetry, granite counters and modern appliances. The...

"This little historic home exceeded all our expectations. The host was amazing, and made check incredibly easy. With walking distance to Garden of the Gods and a five minute minute drive to both Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Highly recommended!"

"Me and my daughter stayed for three nights and we were extremely pleased with everything. The house was clean and very functional. There is even a carport at the back of the property which worked well when a thunderstorm blew with large hail blew in one evening. Washer and dryer combo worked well without issues. The house is also nice and cold."

"My wife and I stayed for 4 nights, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, cozy, and close to many attractions, including Raspberry Mountain which was our favorite hike. The hot tub was a definite plus especially after long hikes each day. Only thing we would have loved to see would be something to cook breakfast on outside. We ended up buying a camping cook top which worked perfect to make eggs. Would definitely come back next time we venture to CO."

"Location was perfect- We were central to all the activities we had planned. The drive to the property is beautiful and we loved driving up each day-Steve was amazing...Helpful, responsive and available. "

"Everything was clean and there was great communication. We wanted a place with a hot tub and they have extra towels to use for the hot tub which was nice. They even allowed us to have a late checkout since they didn't have a booking that night. "

"If you love the outdoors Manitou is for you and so is this lovely place. It has everything you need for quick trip. The fountain river running along the back of the house adds an easy get away for the creek lover in all of us. Book now. Love the whole time."
