"The room was clean and safe. The clerk found me a first floor room. Breakfast was great."

"On this trip, we stayed in 5 different hotels, and one (unnamed in Vergina was horrible to say the least) Our stay at the Candlewood was fantastic! Overall, the rooms were very clean and kept clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. On a long trip, it was a great add-on for the laundry room and had no additional cost to the guests. I would recommend it to anyone, and did to the family members that we went to visit. Thank you for the pleasant stay!"

"Nice hotel just off the highway. Plenty of parking available. Fast check in. The room was large and the bed was firm. They had soap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner available in the bathroom. The breakfast was good. They offered turkey sausage, white egg omelets, hard boiled eggs, fruit and even gluten free muffins as well as all the other items typically offered for breakfast."

"We had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and the breakfast was wonderful."

"Parking was easy. Room was a mess, from stains on the sheets and shower curtain to holes and loose faucet in the shower. Hair clumps in the tub. Had to clean before we used anything."

"This is a brand new property so it is in excellent condition. Restaurant attached which is convenient for a meal or to hang out if you are with a group (we stayed for volleyball tournament). Only way it could be better is if breakfast was provided with stay."

"Happy hour cocktails heavy apps on weekdays and pasta with grilled chicken on Saturday. Very good food. Breakfast is always good. Staff was awesome!!"

"After driving for hours, we were deeply disappointed by this hotel. The room was tiny, claustrophobic, and reeked of dirty dog—a smell that only got worse when we turned on the AC. To make matters worse, two huge black flies kept us awake all night. It was absolutely not worth the $108.41 room charge and $100 deposit."

"I was charged 60.00 by Expedia for breakfast and then the paper bill says extra guest. The hotel mgmt said, they don’t know why Expedia charged us that. The breakfast is free continental and there were 4 of us in one room 2 queen beds. I asked to be refunded the 60.00 and Expedia REFUSED! Never ever will I use them again. 30 years and this is how they treat us! I have emails and I called over 10 times and the hotel managers word."

"There was a recurring noise from outside our window, maybe from HVAC units or some other motor. It did not really interfere with our sleep."

"They allow pets and the dog nearby barked until very late at night with no intervention by the staff. The "Happy Hour" consisted of Beer on Tap for those who drink beer, but nothing else. The hotel is getting very run down with damaged doors, flooring and walls."

"I was denied a receipt at check out. Housekeeping every other day, usuall required another visit to the front desk daily to get towels, washcloths, coffee, etc. New computer system was creating a lot of problems for staff."

"We were there for 3 nights due to a graduation. The hotel has an elevator, and is convenient to the interstate and Sellersburg. You could tell they had recently remodeled, so everything is clean. The bed was comfortable, hard pillows. The breakfast was adequate, I love waffles so I was happy. We would stay there again"
