"Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again."

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

"Perfect 2 night stay with my family. Room was comfortable and clean. Plenty choice for breakfast. Great location to explore the city."

"O hotel está muito venho e sem manutençao. Tenho rinite alergica e, por consequencia, tive uma indisposiçao, precisa de reformas. "

"It is NOT a hotel. Please consider removing it from your lists."

"Really basic accommodation. You certainly get what you pay for...or perhaps a little less. It was a last minute booking, so not much of an option."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast in quality and quantity, most attentive and pleasant staff. Room furnishings and carpet a bit worn out, otherwise an excellent stay. Good situation right next to Blickling House and Estate with beautiful country walks."

"What a gem Creston Villa is! Thanks to Anna and Iain who made our stay a real home from home. From the breakfast with lots of choice, including so many jams, marmalades and relishes to homemade cookies to take with us for a later treat. We loved everything and we didn’t need to know anything about Lincoln before our trip, we could’ve learned it all at breakfast! Great location, easy walk into town or use the local bus service from just outside the property. Highly recommend. Thank you x"

"A very friendly welcome and staff were always ready to help my partially disabled wife. The meals were excellent and well planned. The hotel was very welcoming and felt homely with such Georgian/ Victorian style ."

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next...

"Not enough room for parking unless you have a small car.Code key system for room very hit and miss. Very nice room when you get in,clean and spacious."

"Room was bright and clean. Breakfast was fine. Location was good. Unfortunately there was an awful damp smell from the bathroom that permeated the whole bedroom. I was only there for a night so i didn't complain, but it's in need of some maintenance."

"The rooms were a good size with living and kitchen room separate bedroom. The rooms could be very nice but was lacking on the clean side with dust and some maintenance needed. Wanted to make an hot drink on arrival but only one cup so had to go and buy some, there was no cloth to dry cups up after washing. Didn't use the dishes as they were dusty. There was a lack of shelving in the bathroom to put toiletries away. Contact with the owners was excellent."

"Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Food good. Plenty of parking. Comfortable room."

"Fantastic."

"Nice hotel with a great location on Brayford. The staff are helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Only downside is that if you get a connecting room you can hear everything in the next door room!"

"Beautiful place, ideal location, not for the faint hearted if you don’t like hills! Would definitely stay again ☺️"

"Hotel muy bien ubicado"
