"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"

"I was not made aware that the creek was closed due to drought. I was not made aware that there was a fee to fish in that creek even before it was declared closed due to drought. The trout farm was also closed which i was not made aware of. I would not have added a day to my reservation had I known this. The cabin could use a bigger fridge and softer mattresses but otherwise good. Someone should have made us aware of the stream closure before i added a night but they didnt."

"Great spot, everything was new and clean. A nice site, a little out of town and near the entrance to Pipestem Resort State Park. Check out the Bluestone Dining Room at McKeever Lodge if you want a good meal in the area. The views at sunset from the dining room are amazing. We hiked the Brushcreek Falls, not far away, and enjoyed the Brush Creek Holl'r Mountain Coaster near the falls. A great place to stay if you want to be closer to nature than a hotel. I wish we had time to try out the hot tub...
