"Peaceful Oasis" is one of 17 privately owned cottages situated on a 12 beautiful treed acre property that is offered on rent.

Peaceful Oasis is a beautiful waterfront cottage located on the north shores of Rice Lake, Ontario. This unique cottage has an open concept living room/dining area with large windows and sliding glass doors to provide a panoramic view of Rice Lake.we updated the kitchen in 2019.

Peaceful Oasis is a 3 bedroom rental. It sleeps, 6 adults and 1 kid.
The cottage is only 30 feet from the water and has a direct un-interrupted view of Rice Lake.

WE HAVE A NEW DOCK BUILT FOR 2016.

This renovated cottage has 900 square feet of living space. A newly renovated open concept kitchen(2019), dining & living area that also looks out onto the lake.

The main living area has 1 sofa bed, electric stove, a television and DVD player and dining area. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and plenty of cupboard and counter space. THERE IS NO CABLE TV.

We have a water cooler dispenser with distilled water for drinking. The cottage has 2 full 3 piece washrooms that have been upgraded with modern fittings including a modern spacious shower and tub.

The deck provides a lovely view of the lake and sunsets over the water. The deck comes equipped with comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy outdoor meals and a BBQ.

Peaceful Oasis at Elm Grove Cottage Resort is located on the north shore of scenic Rice Lake at the mouth of the Otonabee River, a hotspot for fishing. In fact, Rice Lake is known to have the highest concentration of fish per square mile in Ontario - common fish are Panfish, Walleye, Muskie, Bluegill, Crappie, and Bass.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. VRBO Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.

NO CABLE TV. You can carry your own streaming device and connect to the TV.
