Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen bei Susan und ihrer Familie verbracht. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und schƶn. Der Pool ist sehr groƟ und man kann sich sehr gut entspannen. Und unbedingt Susans Restauranttipp befolgen. Einfaches Restaurant, typisch italienisch und unglaublich lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder ;)

Top vakantieverblijf

Authentieke sfeervolle en gezellige op afgelegen maar goed bereikbare heuveltop gelegen paardenfokkerij/boerderij. Rustig en temidden van heuvels en vergezichten richting Lucca. Genoeg verrassingen om te ontdekken op 10ha. Ook in de omgeving. Wij voelden ons zeer welkom en thuis. De openhaard in de keuken en pizza oven buiten ....meravigloso! Het vernieuwde en afgesloten zwembad met buitendouche en ligbedden is heerlijk om af te koelen en meer dan groot genoeg. Susan en haar Italiaans/Engelse familie zijn soms aanwezig maar altijd met respect voor privacy en een gastvrijheid zoals je het wenst. Komen graag een keer terug als de moestuin er klaar is en de tuin nog meer in bloei! Thanks for this experience.

Uriges und charmantes Landhaus

Wunderschƶn! Ein liebevoll dekoriertes, sehr schƶnes Haus mit einem herrlichen Garten, wo man/frau wunderbar abschalten und sich erholen kann. Es eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt fĆ¼r AusflĆ¼ge nach Lucca, Pisa, Florenz oder in die Garfagnana mit ihren vielen kleinen und historischen Dƶrfern. Susan ist eine wunderbare, sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin , die jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Leider hatten wir in unserer Oktoberwoche kein GlĆ¼ck mit dem Wetter und es war kalt und hat sehr viel geregnet. Doch da Susan die Heizung angeschmissen und uns ausgiebig mit Holz fĆ¼r den Kamin versorgt hat, wurde es richtig anheimelnd und gemĆ¼tlich. Das Angebot einen Koch (Fabrizio) fĆ¼r ein Dinner zu buchen, der in der groƟen KĆ¼che nur fĆ¼r die GƤste kocht und serviert sollte man/frau nicht versƤumen!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Liebe GrĆ¼ĆŸe von Ursula, Piet, Eva und Liane :-)

Home away from home

It couldnā€™t have been better. Susan made us feel very welcome and gave us good advice on where to go for tours, the best way to get there and where to park. She was always available, but never intrusive. We almost felt like visiting family members. I would highly recommend this place if youā€™re looking for a quiet retreat near historic sites.

A Wonderful Place Above Lucca

Wonderful hosts -- very thoughtful and interested in us having an enjoyable vacation -- couldn't have been nicer and helped us greatly to find local attractions of interest. The three charming old stone houses on the property are secluded and very quiet. Also quite spacious and well-equipped. A great place to stay in Tuscany.

Beautiful and peaceful Toscana

This was a bucket list trip to stay in a beautiful farmhouse in Tuscany and Podere Consani did not disappoint! Susan was very friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful and peaceful and Napo the dog is a very friendly host. The road up is pretty steep and winding but worth the views and privacy. Wonderful

We had a fantastic stay in Podere Consani. We stayed in the three bedroom house. It is spacious, it also has three bathrooms which is great and a living room that stayed cool during the (hot) days. The bedrooms have airconditioning. Susan offered great advice and has extensive knowledge of the region. Lucca is very close by but the house and (beautiful!) garden is very quiet. Highly recommended and thank you Susan!

Lovely property near Lucca

We had the BEST time on this lovely property near Lucca. We enjoyed the pool, grounds, pets, farm animals and hiking nearby. It is an easy drive into Lucca and our host had great advice on where to park and local businesses. The home was very private, spacious and the en-suite bathrooms were great for our family. Charming interior and beautiful grounds. Highly recommend

Family trip in summer

Podere Consani is one of the most personable VRBO experiences I've had. Susan is a lovely, helpful hostess. We really enjoyed getting to know her family and were grateful for her advice and assistance. She helped us arrange for a chef catered meal, cooking lessons, and gave advice for local trips. She was extremely responsive to any issues with the functioning of the property. I would strongly recommend renting a car to fully enjoying the property's surrounding area - the drive up to the property is a bit hilly, FYI.

Excellent location

We had a wonderful week (Oct 15.-21.) at Podere Consani! It is a perfect location for relaxing and discovering the landscape and the interesting cities nearby like Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio. Susan ist a wonderful and kind host, she gave us helpful recommendations and it was always a pleasure talking to her. We enjoyed to stay in the house with its characteristic tuscanian furniture and beautiful details. In the middle of October it was still sunny and warm, we always had breakfast outside and loved to walk around the farm with the olive trees, the horses and dogs. We can absolutely recommend the house an enjoyed our stay very much. Christian and Claudia

We hebben het heerlijk gehad in het prachtige huis.

Woning is prachtig, 2 bedden kunnen beter. Schoonmaken kan ook beter. Sommige van ons houden niet van honden, er waren er 10. Susan is erg aardig en helpt waar het kan.

Wunderbarer Familien-Urlaub

Das Haus war wunderschƶn, genau wie auf den Bildern abgebildet, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Der Empfang und die Gastlichkeit von Susan war wunderbar. Wir haben uns auf dem Anwesen sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Die Tiere, besonders die Hundewelpen haben es unseren Tƶchtern angetan. Der Pool und das groƟe gepflegte GrundstĆ¼ck waren klasse.
