Villa Piantoni on Antognolla Golf Estate. Restaurant, Cafe/Bar, Castle on Estate

Villa Piantoni is located on the 1500 acre Estate of Antognolla, an idyllic nature reserve with medieval castle, an 18-hole championship golf course, one of Italy’s finest, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones II, a golf clubhouse, cafe and bar, and numerous hiking and biking trails. The Estate’s full-service restaurant, La Boiola, offers creative interpretations of Umbrian cuisine as well as traditional dishes. Pizza is prepared in the restaurant’s ancient stone oven.
The restaurant will deliver meals to you upon request.

Villa Piantoni’s main house offers two comfortable bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. There is a spacious living room with wood-pellet fireplace and dining for 6 in a fully outfitted kitchen. The herb garden is just outside the kitchen window. There is a large, covered portico with dining for 8 on a lovely mosaic table. The barbecue is a few steps away.

The infinity pool has stunning views in all directions

Pianetta, our studio cottage, is adjacent to the main house and has a spacious bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette. There is a large wrap-around covered terrace, with dining for two on a mosaic cafe table. (The cottage is not rented separately when the main house is occupied.)

We provide a welcome basket upon arrival, including milk, biscuits, bottled water and a bottle of Umbrian wine! Essentials such as coffee, tea, sugar, spices, olive oil and vinegar are provided.

There is cable-tv, high-speed satellite internet service, and an iPod docking station. We provide a comprehensive information booklet for Piantoni, the Estate of Antognolla and the surrounding area, as well as a small library including travel guides, fiction and non-fiction books, and DVDs.

Our manager, Paul, will greet you upon arrival at the entrance to the Estate of Antognolla and be available to you for the entirety of your visit should you need any information or require assistance.

Please note that the Estate of Antognolla has well-maintained country roads, with some steep inclines, that are not compatible with sports vehicles.
