Stay away!!!
This was a very short and bizarre stay!
The ad read 3 bed and bedroom 3 had a queen AND 2 singles. We 5)travelled from Newcastle to Perth for my elderly mother (with Alzheimer’s) to meet her first grandchild. On arrival there was a king and queens in the other 2 rooms. Not enough bedding for the 5 of us as 2 teenage boys do not want to share the bed with their mums. I contacted the owner and was offered for her to drop sheets off and I could split the king bed. I advised this would still be a bed short. I was told I read the ad wrong and and the ad had said ‘bedroom 3 has a queen OR 2 singles’. This was incorrect as I have taken a screenshot of the listing before it was updated. I also have properties I list. Instead of arguing the point with my guests, I would be there in a heart beat to rectify it. I asked for this, or id need to find another property. My sister, her adult children (aside from her youngest teen) arrived with the 4 week old baby at the property to meet my mum.I then received a message from the owner stating I had breached the property policies as there were a total of 11 (including baby) at the house and that the ad states 8 guests. She had counted people entering on the CCTV. I said the ad only states no parties and the 8 guests is referring to how many the property sleeps. She disputed this again and continued I was in breach. This looked like becoming a weekend from hell. And as I was not going to ask family to leave we had no option but to check out
