Compact little gem
This cozy cottage packs a lot of comfort and convenience into a small space, with gorgeous views out over the river. The kitchen was efficient and well-equipped, the seating throughout was spacious and comfortable, and the whole place is charmingly decorated. There were several thoughtful amenities, including an outdoor fire pit, hot tub, playground equipment, and two kayaks. The whole place was sparkling clean, and the owner quickly responded to all questions.

Location, surrounding area & inside the house was all beautiful. We had all the Necessities. The owner responded in a timely manner, with my concerns or questions. The yard and landscape should be a bit kept up with. Thank you for sharing your rental property.

Peace
Sunrise shines through at your feet, when you wake in the morning. Nice fire pit. Jacuzzi was lovely. The host was fabulous. A wonderful property to just step away from life for a minute, to soak up the peace . Would definitely recommend.

Amazing summer weekend at the cottage!!
My friends and I had the best weekend here. It was the perfect spot by the river (mornings and sunsets were especially dreamy). The house included kayaks, a smart tv for the occasional rainy day, ample outdoor seating, a great hot tub, fire pit, and everything you need for an amazing summer weekend. The neighborhood was super cute and the host, Jess, was extremely responsive and helpful. We didn’t want to leave!! Will definitely be back.

A wonderful place...
My wife and I enjoyed the peacefulness of this waterside cottage. The views were fantastic and the location is so convenient to several small towns. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Relaxing getaway
My wife and I and our dog like to go away at Xmas and just relax. Although record cold temps made it freezing outside this was a cozy place to stay. They supplied plenty of heat for our stay and the communication was great. Unfortunately was only thawing out when we left so couldn't do as much outside as we wanted, you can tell it is a beautiful view over the water. Birds were coming around the last day we were there when the ice on the water started to break up.

Gorgeous view inside and out
The house is really decorated nicely. An enormous couch fit all 5 adults comfortably, the property was easy for my father (uses a walker) to move on his own with no assistance, which was SO important in my search for a weekend getaway. He could access the bathroom and bedroom on his own and the shower/tub combo was perfect. The hot tub was luxurious, fantastic for a morning soak to watch the sunrise. Outside a red maple tree provided some adorable photos and the water could be accessed by a gate. The neighborhood was quiet and well-decorated for the holiday so we were able to walk after settling and admire the neighborhood lights. The location is easy to get to and only 15 minutes from Havre de Grace. We ate our meals in town and walked around after; we’d never been before and it’s a cute town. Overall the most important things I was looking for was pet friendly, accessible so dad can get around without asking for help, near enough to town but not so close there is late-night traffic, and a view. This place exceeded each expectation tenfold!

Perfect place to relax
Adorable little property right on the water. The house has essentials needed for day to day tasks. We stayed for a weekend in October. The house, hot tub and fire pit kept us warm! 15 min to towns for shopping and dining. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. I hope to return with my husband in the spring!

Beautiful View
The house was exactly as described. The view and access to the large river was better than expected. The owner was very responsive to any issues. So glad we found a place where we can take our dog. We would definitely stay again.

Everything we expected!
The sunrises are well worth the 5:45am wake up... Super cute, clean, cozy little cottage right on the water. Easy access for Kayaks and small boats. Jessica was extremely friendly and helpful :) Overall, we had a great relaxing time!!! The only downside was~ The weather was not the greatest..... So we could not make the most use of the outside area..... Keep in mind the surrounding towns were extremely quiet, however it was super close to Delaware where we found fun restaurants and other inside activities to hide from the rain.. Looking forward to a return visit to really enjoy the bay. :)

Great location
Stayed for a long Independence Day weekend. Got great use of the adjacent boat ramp to launch a Sunfish to sail around the river. Views from the back yard were fantastic for fireworks. Swam and boated everyday. Our host was responsive to fix a broken door handle right away, came out herself and took care of it! We were also very stoked to find a Margaritaville machine to make frozen drinks. Kitchen was tiny (accurate as pictured) but stocked for all the basics, good cold AC, and laundry machine (small and slow, don't expect to do towels or sheets in a hurry) to help minimize packing needs. Only suggestions to be a truly stellar vacation rental: yard needs some TLC in terms of mowing and overgrown landscaping, and the concrete step into the water is at the end of life, moves around when you step on it. Instead we just went into the water at the boat ramp next door. Really those are minor and don't bring it down from 5 stars. Would stay again.

Peaceful stay one the water.
This property is in a very quiet area on bay. It was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside couch, firepit and hot tube. Definitely would stay here again when back in the area.

Wonderful get-away and perfect location!
Despite 3 days (out of 5) of stormy weather, we had a lovely time at this cottage-on-the-Northeast-River. We appreciated the cleanliness and modern appliances. The views of the river were spectacular. We all enjoyed spending time in the hot tub. And we were grateful for access to Netflix during the long, stormy days.

What a sweet holiday cottage just on the water. Great location, charming, well thought out and steeped in hospitality. Great neighborhood. Incredible views. Well provisioned. Simple check in, great communication. One of my top 10 stays in my life!

Jessica is simply amazing
Quaint, beautiful home. Perfect for our weekend baseball getaway! A short 24 min ride to Ripken stadium. Neighbor Michelle is lovely and super helpful! Had a snafu with our pups on the first day. Jessica was amazing with the communication, understanding and kindness. We were amazed with her and the neighbor for their help. Wonderful experience overall

Peace and Restoration
Sailor’s River Cottage was just what we needed. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful sunrises, serene moon rises, and you can’t get much closer to the water. Close enough to quaint Chesapeake towns to get out and about but not so close to disturb this tranquil little oasis.

Quaint cottage getaway on the water
We had a really nice time at Jess’s cottage. Went kayaking every day and even rented a pontoon boat Saturday at a nearby marina. Perryville is a perfect spot - not too far away from home; close enough to getting away from busy life. It was so nice having linens and towels provided and access to the water just steps away. Thanks Jess for a comfortable stay!

Our stay was lovely. The bed that looks at the water was the best place to sleep. The property was exactly as advertised. Jess was great to communicate with and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend.

Private and Tranquil
Ideal location with beautiful water front. Dog and kids had a blast swimming and hubby enjoyed sailing his little sunny. Inside was clean and nicely decorated. Air conditioning kept us cool on super hot summer days.
