"Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. "The kids joined us for a weekend on our sailboat, this was the perfect spot to get together after a long day on the water. My one son set a new record on the PAC Man and the other caught a beautiful bass off the dock. The river view from the sunroom is spectacular! Everyone always migrated there. Great time had by all. We will be back in the fall."

"Our Family decided to take a last minute Spring Break trip and had a fantastic time. Matt was a great host and easy to communicate with. We were pleasantly surprised by all of the local dining options. Despite terrible weather that we experienced, we made the best of our trip and had a great time."

"Our group of couples + kids enjoyed our getaway to the Eastern Shore. Betterton was a great home base to visit our alma mater, Washington College, in Chestertown. "The house was exactly as stated. The only thing was the owner never got back to us until I called VRBO number because we needed instructions to get into house and owner replied in evening before day of arrival instead of replying earlier! Other than that we all enjoyed our stay!"

"This cozy home was perfect for me and my dog for an extended stay! We loved walking in HdG every day and went on several hikes throughout the area. The kitchen was well-appointed and I found everything I needed and then some! Suzanne left a bottle of wine for me, and she was responsive and made herself available for any issues/questions. I loved my time here and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for sharing your home with me!"

"O atendente na recepção foi muito educado e cortês. O quarto é amplo, mas decadente. A era cama confortável. O isolamento acústico é inexistente, pois ouve-se tudo nos quartos ao lado, desde conversas até descargas e também quem passa pelo corredor. O hotel é extremamente barulhento. No banheiro não tinha box no chuveiro e sim aquela cortina anti-higiênica. O wi-fi era bom e o café da manhã muito bom para os padrões americanos."
