We drove eight hours and got there at 4.00pm. Luckily I had a copy of my reservation which I made through Expedia. The Desk clerk could NOT pull up our reservation. There were 4 guest on the line, she checked them into the room according to the reservation on their phone. Well, the next step was to call EXPEDIA, she was not able to get at least 2 people to help. She called back to Expedia for Wayne to speak with the representative, he was DISCONNECTED two times. The clerk called back from the Hotel and had two different customer service, sadly after 6 different calls, we were still standing in the Lobby of the Marriott. WE WERE IN THE LOBBY FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS, until finally, the clerk was able to pull up a previous reservation and checked us in 6.00 pm. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Your customer service DID NOT UNDERSTAND that the Marriott needed Expedia to send over the reservation to the Marriott. Someone told her to check us in as a walk-in.
This would make us pay the higher price and I HAD A CONFIRMED RESERVATION WHICH WAS PAID.
