Great place to stay
Great place to stay with a boat dock on the canal. Enclosed porch with a fish cleaning station a major plus.... sunsets were amazing.

Great place
The owners are super sweet and the place is very spacious. The dock is super convenient, their hoses are the perfect length to rinse a boat off, and the fish cleaning station was a major perk! Will have to come back and stay again soon!!

Much better than a hotel
Hosts were very friendly. Apartment was comfortable and well stocked. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Right by the water. Boat ramps just a few minutes away. We will stay here again when in the area.

Perfect
We go scalloping every year and this place was perfect. We launched the boat when we got there and pulled it out the day we left. Our boys had their kayaks and fished up and down the channel every after. It was perfect

Relaxing getaway

Clean and quiet
Quiet little place to stay so you can get up early and out on the water. We had everything we needed for the week. You can't keep your boat at the dock outside of the room until the county dredges the canal but the public boat ramp is just right around the corner.

Scalloping Visit
Normally stay at Steinhatchee for scalloping. Wanted something more laid back. This fit the bill. Nice place, had everything we needed. Congenial, on-site host.

Great place
Although we only used this house to sleep, it was perfect. We have several houses rented in that area for the same week and all gather at one location for food and entertainment, so this house was only used for sleeping. Very clean, quiet, and just what we needed.

Great place right on the canal!

Great Find!
I am so happy we came up here for the weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for and more. The place was clean and cozy. Glenda and her husband were fabulous! Definitely check this place out, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll leave refreshed.

Had a great stay.
We arrived late that night and were welcomed with candles burning in the house. Everything smelled so nice. There was some bad weather and flooding expected while we were staying and she so nicely called to check on us and to let us know what to expect being right on the water. We are considering going back when the weather is nicer. Overall, great experience.

Accommodations
Glenda is a sweetheart, she is very kind and helped us when we needed it. But there is mold on a few places in the apartment where we stayed and it smelled like moth balls. We had a quick trip otherwise I would have mentioned it. We got there late that night and Glenda made sure we got in okay. My son and I went scalloping the next morning and I had locked the door and I totally forgot we didnt have a key. So I had to get a hold of Glenda, which she was kind enough to unlock the door. She was very kind, but I wouldn't recommend staying in that specific apartment.

Great Location!
I really enjoyed staying here. I was needing a place nearby my son's property in Perry and also by the water. And more importantly I couldn't have stairs since I am older. This provided everything I needed. The owner is so sweet and I enjoyed all of our conversations throughout my stay. I look forward to coming back and staying here again.

Just what the doctor ordered
With all the covid fear going on this is the perfect place to get away to and enjoy the water and nature. This house and location is perfect for any group. Scenic and comfortable setting, with the most awesome cross breeze in the evenings for cleaning scallops. Would do this again in a heartbeat. Mrs. Glenda is right on site and super nice and helpful. Totally recommend spending some time in Keaton. Not to mention the scallops are the biggest this year I have ever seen and I have been coming for almost 15 years.

We had a great time staying at this property. Glenda was very kind and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable. We did not try the pullout couch. The place is ‘campy’. Hooks for hanging towels and clothing would be a nice addition.
