"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"This is a spectacular little boutique hotel in downtown Norfolk. The location is great for walking to the theater and the water district. There’s dining everywhere. The biggest bonus is the glass art museum that’s included with your stay."

"The staff were polite and helpful. However, the hotel did not have an accessible room with a waterside view. I booked two rooms, we had to call down to reception to have the rooms cleaned two days in a row. The entire hotel needed to be overhauled and renovated, it appeared very run down. I have family who resides in the area and I would not stay there again."

"I've been going there since in of April or beginning of May since 2025 and honestly it's quite, nice size rooms,nice size T.V.. Good spot for food options if you like McDonald's l, Wendy's,Taco Bell Wawa, honestly the Hardee's ain't all that MF's had one job SMH. The hotel has good and Kind Staff, but I have to say the one guest thing is a bit disappointing I mean at least three guests hell just do two guest and see how it goes. My fiance son couldn't come see her because of the one guest...

"When we arrived and got to our room it smelled of cigarette smoke, marijuana and mildew. There was no comforter on the bed and two very sad looking balled up pillows. The shower did not work properly and the bathroom didn’t look like it was properly sanitized. The door to our room was very hard to open like it was stuck shut. "This place by far is the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The staff (each and everyone) made our stay that much better, from toilet paper to directions to just talking they made my family feel welcome. The hotels amenities were outstanding. "Garage parking is convenient. However our room TV did not work and is situated in an awkward format. There was wig hair found all over the room. And the temperature of the room was not consistent. We were gone most of the day and when we returned the room would be in the mid 70s when coming off a hot baseball tournament you would hope you can come back to a room that you set the temp to 70 on."
