Neighborhood
The Suite Catalogne welcomes you in the heart of Perpignan, a city with a coat of arms of blood and gold from which the Catalan soul radiates.

From the window, the view of the Place de la République is breathtaking. The market takes place there on Saturday mornings.

The square is located in a pedestrian zone.

You will discover several boutiques and shops in the immediate surroundings, as well as cultural sites such as the Castillet, the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, the Campo Santo, the Hyacinthe Rigaud Museum, and the Palace of the Kings of Majorca. They will tell you the story of this wonderful city.

You can take a break on a café terrace or taste local cuisine in one of the many restaurants.

The Suite Catalogne is also close to the Congress Palace and the Palais de Justice.

ACCESS BY CAR – PARKING:

PARKING RÉPUBLIQUE
A very good option to drop off your luggage (the elevator exit from the parking lot is located in front of the entrance to the Suites Coronell d’En Vila).

The Parking Arago is located (5 minutes walk from the Place de la République). The rates are significantly lower.

CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES

– It is possible to park near the Castillet: free spots from 6 PM to 9 AM and from 12 PM to 2 PM, as well as from Saturday to Monday at 9 AM. Fees to be paid at city parking meters. Some spots are free 24/7. Possibility to download the INDIGO NEO mobile app.

– There are also several parking lots where you can park your vehicle for 24 hours for only 2 euros. The closest to the Suites Coronell d’En Vila is the Parking Poncin (located on rue Pierre Dumont, near the Castillet).

To walk to Coronell d’En Vila from the Castillet (5 minutes): go under the arch of the Castillet; continue straight on rue Louis Blanc then rue des Marchands; turn right onto rue de la Barre then immediately left onto rue Mirabeau. The building of the Suites Coronell d’En Vila is located at the corner of rue Mirabeau and Place de la République (the entrance is on the square).

FROM/TO THE TGV STATION

By TAXI: ask to be dropped off at the corner of rue Mirabeau and rue de la Barre. The entrance to the establishment is at the corner of rue Mirabeau and Place de la République.

By BUS: line C to the CASTILLET stop (stop on the left when you exit the main station). To get from the Castillet to Place de la République (5 minutes), see above.

FROM/TO THE AIRPORT

By taxi: duration of the trip is 20 to 25 minutes; cost: approximately 20-25 EUR.
By bus: line n° 6 to the Gare TGV (departures until 8:30 PM – fare 2 EUR). See the previous paragraph for the route from the Gare TGV to Place de la République.
